And player B has a monster on the field that has a protection like Red Eyes Dark Dragoon. Is player A then allowed to use a card that would not normally be able to remove the monster from the field. Player A combos off, and ends with a board of Geomathmech Final Sigma in the EMZ and a Pentestag under the Final Sigma. Does FS get the piercing damage or does it not, and if so, why?

The following examples are HYPER specific just to clarify what would happen ex. 1 - PoC removes from play "DesRook Archfiend." I activate "Battle-Scarred" targeting the name changed PoC. During the End Phase, PoC loses it's new name. What happens to "Battle-Scarred"? ex. 2 (similar to example 1) - "Odd Eyes Venom Dragon" targets a face-up "Sealmaster Meisei" and changes its name and stats. I activate "Talisman of Trap Sealing." During the EP, Odd Eyes gets its name back. What happens to "Talisman of Trap Sealing"? ex. 3 (equip spells) - OEVD targets "Koa'ki Meiru" monster. I equip "Core Blaster." What happens to Core Blaster during the end phase? If it's destroyed, is it still added back to your hand? ex. 4 (two end phase effects) - PoC banishes "Dark Dust Spirit." Will PoC return to the hand or remain on the field?

My oponent activates a monster affect on turn 3 I chain my set infinite impermanence to negate that monsters affect while my opponent also had a set infinite impermanence within the same column. He chains his to my infinite impermanence to negate my monster. How would this sequence resolve as infinite impermanence states that your opponent cannot activate spells or traps within the same column. I had activated my set infinite impermanence first so would he be able to chain his even if it is in the same column or would mine be negated due to the chain in which they resolve

My question is this if Chain Link 1 an opponents monster in grave activates effect (trigger or speed spell 1) then Chain Link 2 I respond with a monster that Negates effect and destroys the card then Chain Link 3 my opponent activates an effect that revives the monster using the effect in chain link 1. Does the monster summoned in CL 3 get destroyed in CL 2 after the chain resolves?

What happens if Buster Blader the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman and Evil HERO Malicious Fiend are both on the same side of the field at the same time, and the other player controls a Dragon? Does the Dragon get stuck in an infinite loop in the Battle Phase, switching to attack and defense position? Or is the Dragon somehow forced to attack position because that would allow the loop to end due to having to attack a monster?

Weird question. So my friend was at Locals and his opponent controlled Vanity's Ruler. His opponent attacked his Harpie's Dancer, and my friend attempted to activate Magical Hats, arguing that Ruler specifies the opponent cannot summon monsters. My friend said he was summoning spells/traps who only became monsters on field. Our judge said my friend was right, but is that correct? Thanks for all the great content!

Its my opponents turn and I have activated and resolved a set Infinite Impermanence in the middle column, my opponent activates his set conquistador that is in the column closest to his deck, he attempts to summon the conquistador into the middle column but it returns to the spell and trap card zone, is this correct?

My Question: If your opponent uses widow anchor on one of your monsters and you book of moon it, the game still remembers the face down card and returns it back to the original play. But if you use instant fusion to summon lets say invoked raidjin and he books himself, he will stay on thr field cause the game does not remember it being the card summoned by instant fusion. What am I missing? When does the game remember face down cards?

In the case of tri-brigade revolt in my harpie-brigade deck ; Say I have barrier statue of storm winds on field and a revolt set, activate revolt summoning my harpie ladies(wind) then since I cannot summon anything except wind monsters do they stay on field since no brigade links are wind, or is it an illegal activation altogether?

So this might be a dumb question, but hopefully this clarifies how I'm understanding costs and everything (I'm trying to relearn the game and your videos have been super helpful for me!), so in the case of say, Polymerization, if I'm understanding costs right because of how the text is displayed on the card that would mean that the fusion materials are not the cost of the card, and you either negate the card itself first or they get their fusion summon off via the Poly effect, right? Let's say : - I activate Sky Striker Mobilize Engage and I select a card and I put it on the table (separated from the hand and the Main Deck) WITHOUT revealing it and then I put the card back into the Deck in order to add another card. Can my opponent says "You picked that card, you must add it to your hand."? - I have two monsters on the field. I send them to the GY but I don't do anything and seconds later I put them back on the field. Can my opponent says "You were going to do something with these monsters, you must commit to this action."? I find the explanations and the examples in the policy document a little too vague... Hey Coder. The Ruling says, that the card on the field isn't the same copy as the same card in the graveyard. Under Effect Veiler, the negated monster can still attempt to activate it's effect, paying the activation cost. If we take for example Rescue Cat, which is currently negated by Effect Veiler. I'm still able to active it's effect, sending it to the graveyard. Since it's a new copy in the graveyard, am I able to use it's effect? Or is it still negated, since it was on the field when I paid the activation cost? It always confuses me...

Are they still considered as being special summoned from their original location? Example : My opponent controls a Time Thief Redoer, I activate a Nekroz ritual spell to ritual summon a Nekroz of Unicore, My opponent chains Redoer's effect to banish itself until the End Phase, Everything resolves and I now control a face up Nekroz of Unicore, my turn passes, and the Redoer returns during EP. During my opponent's turn, are they still able to activate the effects of their Time Thief Redoer? Hey Coder, I had the following situation when playing against a friend: He controls an attack position Ecclesia. I summon Borrelsword. After the successful summon of Borrelsword he activates Fleurdelis in hand to which I chain the effect of Borrelsword to turn a monster to defense position and gain an extra attack targeting the Ecclesia. The chain resolves. The Ecclesia is turned to defense, my Borrelsword gains the second attack and the Fleurdelis negates my Borrelsword for the rest of the turn. Can Borrelsword still attack a second time during this turn or does the second attack get erased when Borrelsword gets negated? Keep up the good work and thank you in advance.

I know you just mentioned that attempted summons are no longer a thing, but in a previous video going over the revisions you mentioned that (if I'm recalling right) negated summons do not count towards the number of summons under Summon Limit. Summon Limit does, however, have text on it going against this, where negated summons do count towards this number. Did something change, and does Konami need to update the text on the database?

I know that this is the case for Vampire Vamp (at least in the OCG) but I'm wondering if it's the same for all other monsters with similar effects and/or if it's the same in the TCG. So if Vampire Vamp targets a monster when it's summoned but then leaves the field, the targeted monster is sent to the GY, why? And is this the case for all monsters with similar effects? (Or is this just an OCG ruling?)

Question since this happened to me at locals. I have a crackdown that has taken control of their monster. My opponent synchros into the adamancipator that bounces. They target crackdown and it goes through. What happens to the monster that was affected by crackdown once crackdown itself has been removed. (I’m asking cause if premature and how bouncing that back kept the monster on the field).

Upon resolving Knightmare Cerberus' effect, would Machina Fortress' effect to look at the opponent's hand and discard trigger?

Ruling question Say my opponent only has a copy of Paleozoic Dinomischus on there field, If I use Deskbot 003's effect to special summon Deskbot 002 to my field, then if I activate Inferno Reckless Summon to bring out my other copies of 002 would my opponent be able to bring out his or her other copies of Dinomischus even though they would be traps while in hand, deck, or grave? Apologies if that is poorly worded or hard to understand.
