Seems like yesterday! Time flies. I was a young boy about 13 living on the Copperbelt kitwe in Zambia and my parents had a small black and white tv. We got up at 4am because they had to beam the fight during the day in USA. Boys in the neighborhood gathered on our patio to watch the making of history. Gee time flies...

I am your biggest fan in Norway mr. Foreman❤️🤠🇳🇴. When you knocked Moorer even my mother (R.I.P.) stood in her chair and screamed with joy😂

I'm a Fury fan ,,,but old enough to remember this fight and to be honest GEORGE would chuck all new heavyweights in his grilling machine before he ate them.

I am pretty sure George forgave Angelo Dundee when he helped George regain his title 20 years later.

God bless you, George. You are one of the most iconic, humble and powerful heavyweight champions of all time. The things you did in the ring will never be forgotten.

I remember meeting the amazing Mohammed Ali many ters ago. I asked him if all the trash talk was to get into hes opponents head, "no" he said "Im just promoting the fights, its my living after all". In hes head he was playing the bad guy, so people would come to the fights to see him beaten. One of the most loved "bad guys" of all time?

Foreman is a living legend and aside from that a very likable guy. I met him when he came to Yorktown, VA in 2003 for a Meineke promotional event. He and I compared fists for the photo… his fist is the most massive I’ve ever seen. It’s the size of a cantaloupe. Personally, he’s a gentle giant…very genuinely personable and almost meek in his interactions with people.

I'm 55 and I grew up watching all the heavyweights. It was a great time for me, as boxing in general faded away from me in the new era. This man, Ali, Frazier, Shavers, Norton, Tyson, etc, is what I grew up with. Can there be something like this era again? I doubt it.
