The tambourine was once made in a variety of rose-shaped bowls common in Iran and Syria, then went to the west through Turkey and Greece, and its oval Bowl was played in Egypt. It is interpreted from the Tambour to the ancient Iranian three strings, which were played during the Sasanian era, Khosrow Pervez and before that. The tambourine was considered the instrument of Iranian musicians, and Ibn khardad made the singing of the people of Ri and Tiberias and Dilem with tambourines.
