Amazing run.... No one comes even close to that speed nowadays, especially on the shortened course. I miss that 2011-2014 era where all of the big guns made passes. I just watched LOTO 2021 & it's now a bunch of 68mph toons & 80mph CC's.

Not sure if you can answer this question but why does it sound like the engines are working super hard when you’re not even going that fast? Not to mention the significant amount of water being thrown into the air.😕

Start buoy to stop buoy (assuming 1 mile) is 29.4 sec in the video. How could the boat be going 244mph?? Don't think so. More like 150MPH. Is my math wrong?

Boat would have to make the mile run around 14 seconds to be 244mph

Looked more like 216 to me.
