The sinfulness of our American people has reach the high heavens and God is ready to deal with our nations wickedness. Woe..woe to the USA! It's curious that TSC had canceled 2 months of activities ahead of time of the World trade center attack.. If they had no revelation from God that a disaster was coming to the city, why did they cancel all activities and set up daily prayer meetings and open the alters 24-*7 from late July into september ahead ???? WHy did the pastors prophesy and repent during those weeks ??? I guess they just got lucky huh?? Why don't you look up the "trench town miracle" from Kingston, Jamaica from 10 yrs ago>? I guess Pastor Conlon got lucky when He prophesied that in the middle of a killing field where 800 recorded murders had happened in downtown Kingston (drug lord factions warring around this 30 acre plot) , that houses would be built and a kid's' playground would be constructed. That actually has happened , and Conlon predicted it a couple of years before it happened.

A Narrative of Surprising Conversions - a book by Jonathan Edwards in 1750 or so, That book has in it the ways I believe one can be saved. They are testimony's from that time of Christians, how they got converted and saved into God's kingdom , and what they did after that. on sermon index there is a audio mp3 of this book in several parts. I have cross referenced the accounts in Edwards with the account of conversion and actions thereafter by persons in Charles Finney's revivals, the thousands saved under C.H. Spurgeon's preaching in the mid 1800's, the Wesley brothers of the 1700's England, William Duna's tales in "take thy glory lord" book about the African experience, and of course, the bible. As for what the gospel is --- I totally agree with David Wilkerson in his sermons 1. "gospel of Christ" 2. The gospel of Accommodation Jesus told his followers of the coming Pentecost " Ye shall be endeued with power from on high" Luke 24:49-50 Luke 24:45-50 are Jesus' words directly from him to his Apostles he tells them to do 2 things 1. Preach repentance and forgiveness 2. Tarry in town until ye be endued with power If that's not the gospel, burn the red letters from your bible and ignore what Jesus said there

Spurgeon, Finney, and Edward's personal heros were Paul the Apostle and Jesus and they modeled their lives and actions after these two BIBLICAL figures. I've read the newspaper articles and seen the documentaries on these African evangelists raising of the dead -- they are buried just like the revivals of 1904 in wales, Denver, and Brittan. Just like the 1858 -59 east coast revival in NYC. I guess these events didn't happen? I guess they weren't moves of the spirit huh? I guess that 1000 newspapers in the 1850's all lied about this? I guess the Denver post in 1904 was full of crap huh? It gets really hard to denounce it all doesn't it?

Daniel, let's see if we can agree on something here. I know you're openly hostile to the preachers I like, but I'd like to give you the first step in Salvation that I find from reading the bible and comparing it with historical accounts of conversion. Do you agree that Salvation starts with GOD? By this I mean, that without God himself, there would be no Conscience in man, who 'knit me together in my mother's womb" Psalms 139:13-14 God chooses time in our lives to explode or , in other words, intensify the conscience which is the substance of God that makes us "created in his image" Genesis 2; This multiplication of the intensity of the guilty conscience in response to our sin is extended for periods of time during our lives. Most of the time it's after a major even such as a family death, a murder, or losing your house in a flood or fire. This intensification of conscience is known as Conviction of sin by God himself. It all starts with God, the whole process, for there is nothing we can do to be saved on our own. But, after such conviction hits you, if you just look to Jesus as the Israelite looked to their standards on the poles in Exodus to assemble before him, and you take the first step to him, he'll run the rest of the way to you and enlist you in his service. Grant me the fact that Conviction is real and We'll be getting somewhere. As for personal experience, I've felt conviction a few times in my own life, you can tell me all the theories you'd like, but I know it's true.

I am saved becasue i have recived through god dying on the cross, remision for my sins, and i have repented from them..i am born again through baptism (full emersion) and i have recieved the holy spirit (the comforter) and speak in tounges.

No not by my own admission but by the scripture.. In Acts chapter 2 verses 1-38 it talks about how the Holy spirit came and how you can be saved! This is in the Holy bible and cannot be interpreted any other way.. Sorry Daniel but if it is in the bible then it is the truth and nothing but the truth.. And to say any different is to be adding or taking away from the bible...

'Regeneration means; Reproduction, the act of producing anew. In theology, New birth by the grace of God, that change by which the will and natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a principle of supreme love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart.' Implanted. Humbling isn't it. We cannot do that. So who does God look to? the humble and contrite ones. Psalm 34:18 and Isaiah 57:15. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to you, Luke 11:13. He will bring your sins to mind. As he does ask Jesus to forgive you. This will be painful, PRIDE HATES IT. When you see your desperate need (Jeremish 17:9) for a Saviour, call out to Jesus to save you. He came to save sinners. Then do as the risen Jesus commanded, be baptized. Matthew 28:18-20, in the water of repentance Mark 1:1-5, Matthew 3:6. Calling on the name of the Lord, Romans 10:9-13. How? As Peter preached Acts 2:21, 38 and as Paul did, Acts 22:16, Acts 19:1-5. Think on Mark 16:16, 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 6:3-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13 and Colossians 2:6-15. When He has regenerated you, you will desire Him. Read His inspired word, the Authorized Version, the King James Bible. The Spirit of truth will lead you into all truth. His word strengthens, washes (as does His powerful blood). His word reads you Hebrews 4:12. Daily bible reading and prayer is essential in building on the foundation which is Christ Jesus. PS. The other apostles were already baptized, they baptized others. John 4:1-2. Read His preserved word, the Authorized Version later called the King James Bible.

Keep on believing sister, Jesus loves you and so do I. Don't fall for deceptions and honeyed words; preachers like this weep before they whip. It was like that with my Dad, he would mourn, not get into it when I had to be belted as a kid, but it turns out that he loved me more than the other kid's fathers did. My best friend's parents didn't love him enough to discipline him, he turn out to be a robber, a destroyer, and finally, a murderer. He's still in prison today. His blind parents blame him for everything and blame the state, but never look inwards to the root of the problem. Carter Conlon loves his congregation, just like my father loves me. As he says here "wash me, cut me deep and get that filth out of me... Cleanse me and make me pure"
