When i was getting my CPL years ago, that particular examiner wanted as much speed as possible to be bled off before touchdown, on a running landing. He wanted us to be losing ETL completely right at the point of touchdown. The guy was super impressed that we only slid for a couple of feet. Set our power limit, then Kept it ever so slightly nose high at about a foot until we got down to maybe 10kts and it started to slowly sink. Then just a tiny amount of forward cyclic and a gentle setdown, sliding about 2 feet or so. It totally was NOT what I'd been trained to do before then. Do you guys ever run into a situation where 3 different examiners want things done 3 different ways?
