As many, if not all of you, already know is that Run the Jewels returned with their new album. This is their third album since joining forces in 2013. Here are our thoughts on their new project. I think the craziest thing about RTJ is how these 2 guys have completely resurrected their careers after forming this group. I remember seeing El-p perform in 2010 in from of maybe 200 people max and just thinking damn, this guy deserves better. I wasn't a fan of killer mike at the time but I know his career wasn't doing so hot either. So I'm mainly just proud as a fan of hip hop that these guys are finally getting the attention they deserve. Hopefully they keep the momentum going for years to come.

Man, El-P was doing even worse in 2012 just after C4C dropped. I saw him at a 800 capacity venue in October 2012, we were max 30 people there. July third the year later, dude's playing to 10.000 at a festival just 100 miles away from there (was in fact the first unofficial RTJ show, at Roskilde Festival in Denmark). That RTJ explosion happened so fast, I can't imagine going from underground for so many years to that mainstream, that fast. Shit's insane

David Awonaike Ok Outkast is great. I don't like to compare great artists and try to degrade them cause that's pretty dumb. So I'll just leave it there lol. Personally, I believe RTJ is the best duo because they started their shit organically and independently. Bar for Bar I think that RTJ can't be touched. That's all I will say.

I rocked this album 4x times in a row, no skip. Then went back and repeated my most favorite songs at least 10x each 😅 Everybody Stay Clam is my favorite joint throughout the whole album. I love how they traded bar for bar and felt so natural. Hell, they did it better than Nas & AZ, Jadakiss & Styles P when they pass each other the Paton. I LOVE THIS ALBUM

That production for Thieves was fire. So damn layered. This album was great. My favorite run in the album is from track 8 to 12. I would say that Run the Jewels 2 is my favorite out of the 3 but that takes nuthin away from this one at all. Listening to all 3 albums in one sitting is sumthin else too. Ear candy.

You know what, out of all the "If You're Watching.." segments, you always wonder if the artists themselves are in fact watching, at least I do. With Run The Jewels, we kind of know they do. And I think that's dope, that possibly the best/hottest (and relevant) hiphop duo of the 2010s ACTUALLY watches, along with us. Who knows, maybe they listen to yall's critique more than you think.

I usually like to go into albums blind before I hear them, but I'm glad I watched this review first. I haven't heard any of the songs from this album except "Legend Has It" but boy I'm definitely going to check out the rest of it now that these guys have praised it to the skies ! Admittedly I'm with Feefo on the 1st and 2nd RTJ albums Killer Mike over El-P no debate. But on this one El-P felt like he lyrically had a point to prove and he exceeded my expectations immensely. Legend Has It and Call Tickertron are my personal favorite.

they both match up on this album better than the last albums too in my opinion like the way they go off eachothers verses. The last 2 albums are dope but some of the songs sound like "disjointed" if that makes sense. On this one they've perfectly got their formula down

When I heard this I did think that it would click for a wider audience. RTJ never dumbed down, but I think they found a way to be just as clever but for the ears of more fans in hip hop. That's growth without compromising to me.

I fucking adored this album. I kept it as a 2017 album and it's my number 1. I try to review albums and I was so frustrated with this album because every time I tried talking about it I felt like I wasn't doing them enough justice. Shout out to my favorite Killer Mike line on here, which was on stay gold where he went off about kidnapping a women from jazzersize. My favorite track though was call Ticketron. But excellent review as always guys love seeing you this hyped.

Every single fucking song was amazing. On the previous two albums there were two skippable tracks on each but this album is non stop quality. This is one of the few albums I'd call perfect.

I like this review, I'm in love with Run the Jewels, and I agree, this is the best one yet but the others are incredible too. Thursday Night in the Danger Room is my favorite joint, this week.

My favorite part of this album was El-P monster flow on 2100. The beat switch up from mike in the beginning to El was so sick and just set him up perfectly. RTJ 3 bumps so hard and so does this review!

Thieves was my favorite song off of RTJ3. Thursday in the danger Room had both Mike and El's best verses for me. The song in general was just so powerful.
