When you find out your dog has cancer. The love, the battles, the good-bye, the deep soul-wrenching sadness, the memories. On point.

I came here thinking this would be a cute doggy story (and it was) but I was blindsided by THE FEELS. 😭🤧😭

I knew, 5 seconds in, that I should NOT watch this. Every second I watched, I knew I should NOT continue. Even at the end, as I could barely see the screen through my tears, I knew I should NOT have watched this. Yet... The amazing tenderness, the beautiful art direction, the palpable love in every frame of this animation prompted me to watch until the very end. Totti would be proud to have such an amazing memorial. I wish I could express the love I have for those I have lost so poignantly. Thank you for adding beauty to the world.

This film is beautiful. The animation, the painting-like style and the lighting. The symbolism and the sheer weight of the line "why him?" The run scenes and the emotion. It's all beautiful. I LOVE THE TOTTI AND THE TOTTI LOVES MEEEEEEE

Props to the animators with the dog’s running. Until you’ve seen a greyhound run, you have no idea how crazy fast their body moves.

I've lost two dogs to cancer. It sucks so hard. I was told a poem. When you lose a dog, it takes a piece of your heart with it. When you rescue a new dog, it gives you a piece of its heart, so when you die, your heart is all dog.

I just couldn't stop crying at the end. It's just too hard to say goodbye to someone you love so much

The rope connecting their souls no matter what was such a beautiful touch, but when it snapped, that actually destroyed me

I can't explain how grateful I am to have participated in this project and how much I learned and grew as an animator from all the team

I love how much he tries to avoid losing his dog. It's true. We'd do whatever we could to avoid that last goodbye. I have three babies now and I can't imagine life without them. I hope I won't have to for many more years.

I started crying after seeing the real Totti at the end. People, do everything to avoid illness from taking over your pet. Sometimes, despite all that we do, there is a negligence somewhere, sometimes. It happens usually with pet owners who have a busy lifestyle. Fill their life with happiness. A happy pet is a healthy pet.

I came into this thinking, "Huh, this isn't so sad" When the film ended, my face was covered in tears. This film shows how attached people can get to their dogs. This film is spot - on 😭💖😭💖😭💖

Okay. From storyboards to the final, I always melt and cry all the tears I have. Man this is the most beautiful love declaration I've ever seen. I'm the happiest for being part of this huge and amazing team. Can't thank you enough for this adventure Shad. Congrats everyone for this magic work

My dog passed away a few years ago, she loves to run, and this hit me on another level, all the emotions came rushing back. Beautiful, but I’m crying now

how I was expecting this to turn out: a normal progression of time, Totti running through the fields. finally, during a usually run, Totti collapses and when the farmer runs up to see what's wrong, but this time we notice some stubble on his face, a beard, something to mark that time has passed and the farmer is older. how it turned out: Totti didn't get to live too long but spent all his days with the farmer living the best life possible. Death comes swooping in (kinda literally) and my heart is wrenched out of my chest seeing the farmer fighting to come to terms with it. this is what film is all about. thank you for making me cry, sometimes we all need emotional release.

This short film is absolutely beautiful and moving! It shows the bond of a human and a dog. You 've got to let them go after many years together, but the loving memories are living on. They love to run and play. As long as it's with you. You will always have a very special place in my heart, Sally!❤

I watched this with my grandchildren and we were all crying and hugging our dogs. It's just so moving. They all have one small dog each. This movie truly captures the amazing love and joy that they bring you, but also the terrible heartbreak as well. We cry our hearts out, and then get another wonderful dog

The animation is literally **DEPRESSING**; not the animation exactly but the colouring and lighting. The message it has and the story is great! He lost the dog; crying in sorrow of losing him! but still they have the golden memories of him with him... Also the detail about the bond between Toddi and owner gives this movie more speciality in itself!

It’s very rare for a video to make me cry, but I think every pet owner who’s lost a pet has felt the emotions this young man had. So heartbreaking, yet the ending was bittersweet

I know and can clearly see that everyone is pointing out how sad this is, But I gotta just say the design of those reaper things was SO COOL!!! And gives you this doomed feeling deep within yourself. The design was awesome with the black feathers, white eyes and large hat, then when the hat turned out to be actually wings! It makes the creatures appear to actually be angles which took his dog to heaven, while also being still very creepy as death is a very dark and mournful time. Truely awesome creativity, I envy not coming up with such a cool design!

This short can be described with many words, but the one that summarizes them all to me is PERFECTION...at every level. It is catchy, funny, engaging, touching, with such beautiful characters and environments...amazing work from the riggers and the animators. I've enjoyed It so much, it's spectacular. Congratulations to the whole team.

I love how the glowing line *signifies* the dog having a leash, yet, he’s still allowed to roam wherever he wants.

I expected this to be sad, but not that sad that i would cry. The thing im most scared of as a dog owner, is losing my beloved Cooper. I see him as family and will do anything for him to be healthy, but this film made me realize that one day, i will have to say goodbye to him. I will miss him when the time comes, so for now, im going to make his life has good as possible so he can rest happy. This film may be heart wrenching, but it was beautifully done. The back grounds, lighting, story and everything, just made it feel more.. real. The happy scenes were happy, the sad scenes were sad, it was perfectly done. The animators that worked on this have done a great job. Overall, would i watch this again? Yes, would i cry each time? Yes.

Visually this was on another level! I hope Totti's spirit leads you to buttloads of cash cause you are extraordinarily talented, in storytelling and unique lighting and rendering styles! the string between them..... it visualizes something so special, yet unseen, that I have with my cat. his soul is always on my heart. he has been having challenges lately, he's healing very well and right now back to his normal self. I do fear what the vets will tell me next. This really hit me so deeply. I'm choking up as I type this cause it's so special the connection we have with our animals, and this short film really captures that so well. Thank you so much for this

As I am watching this, I am crying so hard that my dog felt the need to get up from his blanket to comfort me. he has been the best boy I ever had. He is healthy but he is getting old. I will enjoy every day we have left.

I've never lost a dog, but I've lost many beloved cats over my 22 years of life. I really felt the emotion in this film, and I can't express how much I understood so well straight from the get go. This is beautifully done, animation and it's talented artists never ceases to impress me ♡

You are telling my story with this beautiful work of art. My "Totti" is my dearest ever love, Beau, my 11 yo standard poodle who is hanging in there, but fighting a horrid disease that prevents his body from absorbing most of the nutrients from food. He's lost 14 lbs, and is so frail--even his skinny body resembles Totti's. As sick as he has become, Beau even now siezes any opportunity he finds to run. He has always loved to and lives to run. Frequently, people comment on how beautiful it is to see him run. I've made rigorously caring for him my #1 priority, and he is a really picky eater. I cook high end steaks and chicken for him 2 or 3 times a day. I take him with me everywhere I go. He cannot stand not being right by my side. It's like your film captures the identical soul of my love bond with Beau. Produced many tears--for Beau and me, for Totti and you. Nothing hurts worse. I keep thinking that I won't know how to live without him while I'm ajusting to live with a breaking heart. Blessings and peace~I understand, and I'm so sorry. 🐾

At that time everything was getting worse and suddenly he left us after losing him it was really difficult to accept that he was really gone every another day it feels like from somewhere he will come and ask for food ...his favourite thing to do.....but it's more than a year now and I am so grateful to the little angel he spent his precious life and time with us and made us very very happy just Frome his presence....and ya thankyou so much for the beautiful video it reminded me lots of memories ❤❤
