I wanted to make a joke about how this reminded me of the German kid's quiz show "1,2 oder 3" which has a similar concept. Then i checked wikipedia and found that that show is actually based on Runaround.

Veraxis vimto is a mixed fruit fizzy drink... Not that great to be honest. Pretty sure they make a cordial (squash) version too. Along with vimto chewy sweets and vimto sour spray candy. At one point they did vimto bonbons too. Not my favourite drink I have to say.

Ah, okay. Not what I was expecting. I like how it sounds to be fairly popular in spite of the fact that neither of you particularly likes it. I don't know if you have Warheads candy by you, but they are a kind of hard candy coated with an extremely sour flavoring on the outside. The candies themselves aren't that great after the coating has worn off, but the main appeal is in how incredibly sour they are. IIRC, I think they also come in small spray bottle and dropper bottle varieties, which are basically just a liquid form of the sour outer coating and will pretty much numb your taste buds after a few drops. They would probably make for a very nice forfeit, actually.

Veraxis yeah we have warheads! And another called Toxic Waste. They are just as bad... One worse than that is an old style candy called "the black death" can't feel your tongue after that!! As for popularity of vimto, there's a lot of shops that don't stock it at all.

Very delayed reply. I think so much tea is consumed for the same reason cricket is the worlds second biggest sport, huge in india! It has the worlds second highest population. Unlike cricket though, tea is also huge in China which has bar far the largest population.
