Runaway Army horses charged through central London. “A number of military working horses became loose during routine exercise,” according to the British Army. Seven horses and six soldiers from the Household Cavalry were working when several of the horses were spooked by construction noises. Five horses bolted and four soldiers were unseated, according to the Army. The runaway horses are under veterinary care and three soldiers are receiving medical attention for non-life threatening injuries.

I got thrown off a horse as a kid. A gardener emerged out of some bushes and spooked the big guy during a lesson. He was an extremely old and laid-back horse; kind of surprising that he was still able to rear up and run like that.

I did feel bad for the gardener though. He was just doing his job (poor guy barely spoke English, iirc), but the stable workers yelled at him for spooking their oldest horse. Monty was in his 40s, which I guess is pretty old for a horse. Maybe they were worried that a surprise like that could've sent him into cardiac arrest. The old boy was deeply loved. Every day after he was done helping kids learn to ride, the older kids would hose him down and brush his hair at the little horse bathing area they had. He loved the attention. Then he'd go rub against his favorite eucalyptus tree and mosey back to his little paddock to be put to bed. I think they scattered his ashes around the roots of that same tree after he passed. I should contact that stable to see if anyone currently working there still remembers him. I swear, that horse lived a better life than most humans.

I have heard "It's an omen" at least once every year of my life. I've lived through at least 30 alleged doomsdays. The world is very big with many things happening. It's really not that unusual that some horses get spooked by a loud noise in an urban environment...

@Eros.n.pippins
@Eros.n.pippins Ай бұрын
@@RostClan220 not really. Its better for them in so many ways to live out 24/7, they get exercise by being able to move around how they would naturally. Putting them in a stable is literally for our sake. It has no benefits unless the horse is injured and needs little movement But yes, they should be out with at least one other horse, but it is not the end of the world(especially if due to unseen events)
