OMG, my worst crash ever was when I first noticed and was fascinated by the shadow of my ZMR 250, which was its last flight...ripped the front right arm with a No Parking sign. Nice camera, good features and great picture, a little grainy in low light than I would like but still very good. Love the change of case color. It would be nice to be able to order those in other colors as well. However, I would prefer a wider field of view than 155 degrees. *Another great review Nick, two thumbs up!*

I thought that the night video with the snow background was a game changer! But alas it was only the extra brightness from the snow! For the price it's a very good looking camera! Good job Nick! Looking out for everyone's local store! Once again, proves your a class act!

Gday Nick, another very cool rumcam camera, it is very blue in the dark but looks like a great adjustable fpv camera and lets face it who flys outside at night when its pitch black, most pilots fly indoors (whoops) or in daylight hours, great review mate.👍🛸

I always like to see the shadow of my quad also I just figured it was because I'm fairly new lol I have only been at it about 7 months. Always like your videos and your flying style I hope to be able to be that good eventually I try to fly something everyday thanks for all the helpful videos

I love the way you make comments on odd details, like "It's Blue". Seems like a great camera for normal light levels, but not much good in very low light. For now I think that I will stick with my favorite Ratel, but considering trying the Toothless. I have a tendency to fly in the evening until there's not enough light to fly by, so I lean toward cameras that do better in very low light conditions.

I ordered the runcam hybrid 2 just now. It includes this phoenix 2, so I think I got a good deal.

The Oscar edition became my new favorite cam. I thought it had great HDR, color, and contrast. Thanks For the review Nick! Gunna give this one a try

I love seeing the shadow of the drone... I noticed the same thing as you on the heavy overcast evenings that the lighting was perfectly flyable even at midnight if hadn’t been 22 degrees outside i would have flown. I think i will set up a cockpit area in my dining room area and see if i can fly from inside because the weather is not cooperating for my 2 upcoming maidens. Lol 😂

Thanks Nick !! Looks really good, and Runcam needed to drop prices, to many other good offerings out there. I would buy this, as Runcam has really good QC, as far as I've seen. I could not say the same about Caddx.

When you brought up the yellow trash bag I thought maybe you could take one of those foam boards from school projects and put the primary colors on it, show it through a normal camera and then show it through the fpv feed.

wow it's amazing how much light can be reflected from snow. thats crazy difference. it would be nice to see the view at sunsetish or a lil after. the night view after showing the snowy night view was huge diff and it seemed too dark to fly for sure. is it considered a starlight cam like the caddx ratel?

I am sure when set to PAL the camera would look much better. Same with the Micro Eagle. On NTSC it has ugly edge artefacts, on PAL the horizontal edges are so much better and more detailed.

It's blue like the weather

well no end to china new year slight delay,,, affiliate links well i spread the wealth among my subscriptions being probably like a lot of us we have no local hobby shop,, its 100 miles one way for me.. yes the drone shadow can get you lol ,, looks like a good cam only thing is the plastic on back,, make it cover the board. i had a failure by just landing in grass and what little early dew got up in there and shorted the cam out. sparks n smoke . rare but happened , couldn't believe a couple drops of water killed my cam. like i sneezed on it. thought they had some conformal coating.

I just don't see anything spectacular or innovative about this camera that would make me wanna go out and get me one. don't get me wrong the picture seems nice but for me there's definitely cams with a better picture in the same price range. I'm also partial to cameras that are useable at night aswell as the day sense I fly at dusk/night a lot of the time so my opinion maybe a heavily biased one. If I was in the market for a micro camera in this price right now I would be getting another ratel because the price right also not only is the picture really nice during the day but I can also see clearly when when the sun goes down. About quad shadows, I have to agree with you Nick, for some reason they have always drawn me in too. it's kinda strange now that I'm thinking about it.

Hi Nick, I'm looking for a camera in this price range to use on my Tyro79. It has a 19mm mounting but I only have 13mm for the lens to stick out of the uprights. None of the manufacturers usually disclose the diameter of lens. Could you recommend something that would fit? Thank You
