I want to ask you..what kind of bark from the tree did you use for your bowstring ?

It has the scientific name: Boehmeria nivea, family urticaceae. This tree is about 1-2m high, the trunk is only as big as a finger. Its root is often used as a gynecological medicine. Crushed leaves, used to make traditional gai cake where I live. As for the trunk, if you soak it for a long time, the bark will rot. You can easily extract the fiber in the bark, which is the raw material for making bowstrings. When these fibers are braided together, it is extremely strong and does not stretch. The bowstring in this video is the bark of a tree for which I only have the local name. Its durability is not high, only temporary use. You should use the type of wire I mentioned above. In later episodes, I mostly used it to make crossbow strings.
