North Rockland's Katelyn Tuohy captures her 2nd Nike Cross Nationals title in 2018 running 16:37.8 over the 5 km course in Portland, Oregon.
Future NC State teammate Kelsey Chmiel takes 2nd in 16:54.8 while Taylor Ewert finishes 3rd in 17:06.7.

Probably to get us riled up for the new NCAA Season. Or the HS season. I think it is good. KT's HS was not too far away from where I grew up so I heard a lot about her.

Nowadays I could not even walk this course without a severe backache.......let alone being rescued by an ambulance. These ladies at this age still is amazing

@@anderstauschristensen9184. It’s the same result as this year, 2018: 4 in the top 6. 1 TUOHY, Katelyn 2 CHMIEL, Kelsey 3 EWERT, Taylor 4 COVERT, Emily 5 WALTERS, Claire 6 RAUBER, Brooke. Edit: Claire Walters transferred to a D3 Catholic College before 22-23 season, can’t remember the name.

Sad to say.......Katelyn never put much effort into running this race.....otherwise....she would not have been able to stand. Shortly after the race.......Im fine....no problem ????

3:26, the announcer has no clue what he’s talking about. He say’s London Culbreath is the only runner in this race that beat KT the last time she lost. He’s referring to 2016 NXN, KT’s [Fr] last XC loss in high school. Kelsey Chmiel, Grace Ping and London finished in front of her in that race and they’re all in this race. Proving that commentators just fill “dead air” with anything, doesn’t have to be true. Lol

No that's not what he said. He said that Culbreath was the last person to beat her not the only one. He said she was 13th and Culbreath was 12th. But yeah I agree commentators don't like dead air.

@@frankiek2269 Well you should listen carefully. He didn't say Culbreath is the only runner in this race that beat KT the last time she lost. He said she's the last runner to beat her. Quote "She is the last person to defeat Caitlyn Tuohy in a cross country race two years ago at this race Caitlyn finished 13th and London was 12th..."

@@simmorg290 I know exactly what he said. Quote: “Fun fact: London Culbreath is the last…..”. “The last” means singular. I got straight A’s in reading comprehension. In fact, I was in Weighted [Honors] classes. I’m right!!! He screwed up. Deal with it.

@@frankiek2269 Well done with your reading comprehension but I'm sure you must have concentrated more during your reading test than you have done here. You're right he said the last girl to beat Katelyn Tuohy was Culbreath. Of course last is singular. Only one girl can be the last to beat Tuohy. This is your mistake. Culbreath was 12th and Tuohy was 13th. There were another 11 girls that beat Tuohy in that race but Culbreath was the last one. As you said there were a few other girls who had beaten Tuohy in that race that were in this race but they could've been the second last or the fourth last or whatever to beat Tuohy.
