My husband and I would play this song, every Friday night before we went out to our favorite beach bar. He died this week. The day after, I was standing in line at the Target pharmacy, waiting to pick up a prescription. This song came on. I don't remember ever hearing music in Target before. I think this was his way of contacting me. We were married 58 years.

Yeah but even the length was just perfect... .just enough.... not unnaturally dragged out beyond the point where it runs out of juice and becomes forced.

My wife and I saw TPHB 7 times. Seven of the best evenings of our life together. She passed away last year. Watching these videos and remembering gives me great comfort.

I can remember driving past the exact spot in Melbourne in 1990 when I first heard it on the radio and pulled over to the side of the road to listen. Bought the tape for my Ute the next day…RIP Legend

Oct 2, 2017...RIP Tom my friend, joining that big band in the sky, will love you and miss you forever...I remember banging on my steering wheel when I first heard this Most Awesomest Song Ever, in the Food Lion parking lot, wishing I had a drum. My young daughter and I love you, your songs will live on forever, you are not gone, we have your songs. Shit, tears on my key board, Love you man

I was lucky enough to meet him in the very early days, 1979 I think. And he was nice! And polite with this amazing south Florida drawl. I was so in awe that I barely said a word.

Patricia Carberry-Harris You’re so fortunate to have met him. I’ve only observed his modest, non-pretentious character through old videos. What precious talent behind those blue eyes!
