Great looking country , and great looking coons ! So if it rains , and the ditches flow , would your sets be illegal ?
@IronTrailTraplineSupply Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, temporary water is legal.

Luke What’s the most efficient way to pull those wolf fangs? I guess what I’m asking is about your technique or system.
@IronTrailTraplineSupply Жыл бұрын
I do three methods depending on what and where I trapping. 1. Pull it out with the truck with a chain I have made 2. Use a dirt hole auger and drill down parallel with the chain 3. Stake puller and a sore back

If you don’t mind me asking where are you selling your carcass raccoon and what price are they offering? I’m also from North western MN and I can’t find a buyer to give me more then $3 put up. Good luck this season and it was fun visiting with you in Wadena.

Hough Fur in Downer, MN is where I normally go. I don't want to put prices in his mouth, so I'd probably just call him and see what he says. Great guy.

I am brand new to this, so forgive the beginner question. Are those wolf fangs hard to remove out of the ground?
@IronTrailTraplineSupply26 күн бұрын
It really depends on how hard the ground is. If it's wet/muddy ground you can pull them out by hand. If you're in hard ground or clay they are very hard to get out. You'll want to buy or rig up a stake puller for sure.

Do u know put a golf ball on top work great try it
@IronTrailTraplineSupply Жыл бұрын
Heard of guys using them. Probably works good, just seems like a pain in the butt to haul 200 golf balls around.

Do you have a market for your coon hides?
@IronTrailTraplineSupply Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I sell everything I catch.
@skydiver6711 Жыл бұрын
Question, why can't you put a trap within 50 feet of water?
@IronTrailTraplineSupply Жыл бұрын
Because when this video was shot water trapping wasn't open. Staying 50' away is the state law in MN.
