MPC is my favorite era of Lionel I also like Williams trains when Jerry Williams owned the company.

MPC made some really nice trains later on in their ownership of Lionel. They made some junk as well, but that was mostly entry level things. Lionel Corp also made their share of less than desirable products. You have a very nice layout. If you were to start all over, would you still use FastTrack? I've heard from many guys that they wouldn't. It's cheaply made and noisy they say.

Thanks, I used Fastrack because I had lots of it from starter sets. I will not be using it for my next layout, for me, it comes down to conductivity issues, which is a constant battle with the steel rails which corode easily.

Hopefully, something like gargraves or atlas, although it's a lot more expensive, it will look way better, and I don't want to deal with steel rails anymore
