This was so helpful! I had a wii moded on 3.1 software that I found at a goodwill and I was able to get the up to 4.3 and keep the mod intact. I’m so happy I didn’t have to remod the thing or worse end up bricking it since it didn’t have bootmii on it.

I have 4.1E firmware version and you said to skip that part where i have to obtain the console mac address if the firmware version is below 4.3. So does this mean i have to skip the step where ModMii asks for the Mac address as well ?

It is a real shame but this modmii does not work. Every time I install install it i get an error message from windows saying "windows can not find "support/wizapp"

when i open up modwii skin it says error windows cannot find support/wizapp please help

During initial launch of bootmii i never get the checking naand blocks screen. I can access the bootmii menu and go into the sd card icon and see that the files (usb gx loader,priiloader ect) are on my sd card but each fail to launch/boot even when force commanded?

quick question, the recommended wii system is 4.1 in bootmii, but lot of ppl said go 4.3 and use the mail to mod, which is like this video. My wii is 3.4 right now and already have HBC, just not able to load most channel installer and missing some ciso when i run emulators from HBC. Do I need to upgrade to 4.1 or 4.3 or just stay 3.4? Ive used this twice on a wii I had and I modded my sisters wii for her daughter to play some games on. Now i have a question.. i bought a wii mini at a yardsale for $10 and was able to bluebomb it today. Now, since the mini has no online capabilities and has no mac address, can I still run modmii? I dont think i have the right cios installed causing some issues with usb loader gx.

I got all the way through but did not have the Some YAWMM Mod extension on the Homebrew page. I have a YAWM ModMii Edition but that says it’s to Manage WADs and Launch Apps. Where did I go wrong or what should I do?
