The plaintiff says the defendant, her former roommate, owes her money for utilities, so she’s suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff conjured up this lawsuit out of the blue, and he denies owing her anything

divide by 30 and then multiply by 3 is the same as divide by 10 which is easier to calculate.

What she said after the ruling..." when you try to dodge from your responsibilities it shows a lot about your character". Exactly. It shows a lot about your character honey. You try to dodge from yours and make someone else to pay for them. It shows a lot about YOUR character. Not a good one at all, he did the smartest thing getting rid of you.

So she sued him and the judge had to become a accountant but it was a lot cheaper for defendant. I can see his point she has to prove it not just through out an arbitrary number and say you owe me this. If defendant was out before the end of July and she stayed why would he have to pay 3 day’s. It was a grace period that she went over.

he had to pay those 3 days because that was when the lease officially ended. from what i understood, his letter about leaving was basically just saying he wasn’t going to renew the lease so, even if he moved out before the end, he’s still responsible for those last few days per the end date of the lease - if that makes sense lol. someone can correct me if im wrong tho - i could have missed part of it. the funniest part to me is it seems that the defendant didn’t really care much about paying that little bit of the bills & rent so it seems that he would have paid her that to get her off his back if she wasn’t making the brain dead claim of him being obligated for how much longer she had stayed lol.
