I’m a super cry baby and started crying before you even started the race! I had to stop and comment on how important it is to see a normal person chase their goals and persevere through obstacles on the way. It makes me realize how hard I’ve worked these last few years to better myself and gives me encouragement to tackle other goals as well! CONGRATS!!!!!! This journey has been truly inspiring to watch!!

You've worked so hard and endured some really less than ideal training circumstances but you didn't let it stop you! You PULLED THROUGH and honored yourself, your community here, and every person who has been affected by brain tumors and cancers. So proud of you and so happy to see where our journey goes next! 🥳

I think because I watch videos about stoicism, and I like to watch vlogs depicting what life is like in other parts of the world, you eventually showed up in my algorithm a couple of months ago. I have been following your story ever since, but I did not realize how emotionally invested I was until I watched this video. 46 year old grown man, with tears in my eyes from the very beginning, but by the 15 or 16 minute mark out I was bawling like a baby. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and that you treat yourself. You are a superhero, a rockstar, and there are so many people all over the world who are inspired by you and who love you. You may live alone in the Big Apple but all of your friends are celebrating with you today. Congratulations!

My partner is a marathon runner and suffered a brain injury when struck by a motorcycle out for a run this past summer. I have witnessed his dedication to running and have been alongside him throughout his training. I hope he can get back here, one day. I watched this with tears streaming down my face. I ran through New York marathon 8 years ago and my run didn't go as I planned either. I got a stress fracture 10km in -but I finished that marathon - I flew from Australia to run it - and ended up in a moon boot for 6 months. But even though I was disappointed this was the most memorable proud moment of my life. Thank you for letting me relive my marathon through you. This won't be your last marathon. I promise you. You should be super proud - what a wonderful accomplishment. You overcame great odds to make it to the finish line, with your feet hurting all the way. Before you lined up, you trained with determination despite juggling two jobs, a move and without a long background in distance running. Be proud of the 5 and half hours. You ran for those who couldn’t, and the only true competitor you have in any race is yourself. Hope every time you look at that medal it brings a smile. It should be a reminder that you conquered 26.2 miles in one of the most challenging marathons in the world and as the sun set over your city you were flying down the last backstretch.

Chelsea, you are a warrior!! It is a tough course and to finish is a great accomplishment!! Life does get in the way so training for an event of this magnitude is hard even if you have time. Trust me, I know it was a balancing act for me as I trained for NYC Marathon. One thing that stuck with me is when I ran my first marathon in Chicago 2021, I was grateful to have finished in 5:28:16. This being my second marathon, I did it in 4:12:17. Keep plugging away as you have so much ahead of you. Courage is needed to make this dream a reality. And what a beautiful way to honor your dad. Some older guys from the FBI dragged me up the last climb on the Verrazano bridge. Literally. Then took me to Little Italy for pasta. So unbelievably proud of you, all that you’ve accomplished, the discipline, and follow through to prep and finish for this marathon. That takes tremendous amounts of determination to do that and you did it. I appreciate how present you were in that last mile and the depth of your gratitude. Speaks volumes to how wonderful of a person you truly are. Way to go, Chelsea!!

Chelsea, running for you dad to me was… I just don’t know what to say. My mother died when I was 9 and I haven’t really done anything IN HER name before. But you running for you father and in his name made me really happy. He’s looking at you and seeing the strong, beautiful and happy women you have grown to be. Lots of love to you. AND OH MY GOODNESS YOU RAN THE NEW YORK MARATHON!!!🎉

Chelsea, I came across your channel a few months ago after a trip to New York. All I can say is THANK YOU for your authenticity. Life is hard and so is running a freaking marathon, but I appreciate that you document everything, not just the good stuff. I’m planning to run my first marathon next year and you continue to be such an inspiration. Thank you for being a bright light in this world!

So happy for you, Chelsea! 💜My father passed away earlier this year due to a brain tumor and I got so emotional watching you run in honor of your dad and so many others suffering from this horrible condition. You are an inspiration and thank you for fundraising and being a great human being! Looking forward to seeing your future videos, but make sure you rest and take care of yourself first! Sending hugs 💜

I only subscribed to you a couple of months ago so have only seen a small part of your journey and determination to run the marathon but this video made me cry - you are such an amazing person Chelsea, and I hope you know even in a small way how much your videos speak to so many people and make them feel a little less alone or scared at times. Well done on such an amazing achievement, and lots of love from Ireland.

I know this is 6 months late but I've been watching a ton of running content lately (including a bunch of your videos) because I've just got into running myself. And I kept seeing this video recommended but I kept avoiding watching it for reasons I couldn't explain. I knew it was probably a video I'd enjoy, I knew I enjoyed your running videos, there was no reason to avoid it. But I did anyway. Well, today I finally did watch it and now I understand. My mom has glioblastoma. She has been very lucky and responding well to treatment (we're nearing 3 years since her diagnosis) but I guess you could say there is a dark cloud over me, just waiting for the other shoe to drop. This video ended up being very emotional for me and I cried multiple times. I have to believe that I was being led to avoid watching this video by some invisible hand until I was in an emotional state where I could handle it. And now that I've seen it, I just wanted to say I'm so glad you made this video and I don't know you but I'm so proud of your accomplishment. You made me realize for the first time that this new hobby of mine might actually do some good. So thank you

So proud of you, Chelsea! You killed it and all that amazing hard work surely paid off! I recently ran a half mar in the Clearwater Rock and Roll, and I was so tired afterwards, and that was half of what you did!!! You finished what you started and you did it with such determination, bravery, hard work, passion, and grit! Great job, girlie!! 🎉🎉🎉❤

Ok, so I you know that saying, everything happens for a reason. I subscribed to you about 3 maybe 4 months because I love you style of Vlogs. But now here's the interesting part my dad died from a brain tumor in 1997, I kinda of feel this is why I found you. Thank you for running to fund raising for them and being so genuine in your vlogs.
