depends on soil. tilling increases water absorption capacity of the soil, and hence improve water table.

Why you running the Roto ? What happened to the cover ? I thought I may learn something new . instead I watched great drone footage . didn't learn anything though . the title just mislead me I guess .

Running the Rotary makes nice clods so our sandy soul won't blow from our windy days we get this time of year. My cover crop is is way behind this year and it's been getting damaged from the wind quite a bit.

Thanks, yes it's deleted and I planted rye for a cover crop, it's still small so you can't see it good in the video. It should be bigger by now but the polar vortex we had really set it back.

Our soil blows easily, this makes nice clods and ties it down.

@@oobreefarms thanks for the answer, We use this machine in Turkey,to fill the root with soil after the plants emerge. Also If it rains when the plant is first emerging, it is useful to use it.
