Synopsis
A journalist for a struggling television station travels to Africa to meet conservationist and filmmaker John Varty, who has been following a mother leopard for several years. She believes this would make an interesting story for the station's viewers. However, things don't work out as planned as one of the station's executives is trying to stop her filming idea and the unfortunate death of the mother leopard.

Wow! Brooke sang the ending credits song "Winds of Paradise". I never would have guessed. She has a beautiful voice! Brooke is quite grown up now in 1994. A great actress🙂

i had the privilege of meeting Mr JV and what an incredibly productive souled wild/driven Man he is... this movie says a lot about how we do damage... But also What We are capable of achieving if We Try Harder and harder... This is a wonderful film! Right up there with "Born Free"! I couldn't handle Africa, but I commend the people who live and devote their lives to their passions for these animals🙏🏼

We, need more movies like this, a story on lions and black panthers and all the wild cats. I would watch them all. This is entertaining and educating. I love this kind of stuff.

Beautiful movie!!! I loved every moment watching it . Thanks for uploading it,I did get emotional when little boy died,in such a harsh envinroment the Cubs weren't ready for. Brook Shield at her best beautiful played a fantastic role showing her passion for Nature Animals and respect and determination completing a mission. Looking forward for more films as this!!!!

I completely understand as well as agree with JV’s way of seeing things when it comes to wildlife. Every creature on earth has the right to flourish as much as we humans do. I believe we are a species that is much too powerful for this earth and is the reason why it’s dying. Which is why, as the dominant species, we humans need to take responsibility and care of "Mother Nature" and its inhabitants. And that includes those of the kingdom of Animalia, so we can still have a bright future.

I never seen this movie before thank you for putting it up I would give any thing to go to Africa it looks so beautiful and to see the animals in there own habitat I'm proud of the many men their who work hard to catch the poacher I wish people wouldn't have to be so greedy for the animals suffer and the beauty in the land suffer if people don't change all the waters will be poison and there will be no trees left and then the greedy people will see they can't eat money for everything needs tree's for oxygen I hope more people get to see this movie and they realize what they are doing to our planet is wrong

thank you so much for uploading this docufilm, I got very emotional, I adore felines, had 4 in my timeline, and cannot wait to have another one. Loved the end when little girl went back and showed the guys her first hunt, as if to say, see? I can hunt on my own now, you can go. What a great cast of actors too! Two of my favorites Sheen and Shields!

Really enjoyed this movie. Story of survival. The animals also fight to survive from humans and other animals. The humans are the worst killing for tusks,skins or fur, for sports. Animal only kill for food or territory. Not for stupid reason like humans do. This shows humans lost their intelligence. Animals now got more sense.
