Going through a dip in motivating in my training journey. Cody always feels like a support system so I’m gonna go try and run again today. It’s been rough the last few weeks

This has become my favorite channel on KZfaq. I started jogging to do a 4.2-mile race back in April and have kept up with us as part of my weight loss odyssey (down nearly 100 pounds with plenty more to go) Still slow as fuck but hit a PR in the 5K yesterday while running along the coast in San Diego County and was just thinking of Cody’s training during it. I’ll likely never do an Ironman or anything that psychotic but I do think that I can see myself doing a marathon one day. Cody showing the reality of doing this kind of activity is such an incredible inspiration to keep it going. Choo choo

I don’t know if this is fate or not but I decided to race in a local triathlon bc of Cody Trains. It was the CapTex in Austin TX. Watching this now and realizing Cody LITERALLY ran on the run route of the race on May 26th and I raced on May 29th. Makes the race that much more special to me CHOOCHOO BABY!
