The world was such a different place back then. Though we made progress, I don’t think there will ever be an era like this again...

Despite the hardships and hate towards us we created so much COLOR and vibrancy and JOY. I feel its missing nowadays. Its all gone online and social media has swallowed it up

I was in my early/mid-teens when RuPaul first hit it really big with "Supermodel." I was a young gay kid from Wisconsin and talk shows that featured drag queens and club kids were almost like a life preserver to those of us who felt really alone but would have to slog through high school before they could really blossom. It always amazes me how some audience members would be up and clapping to the rhythm and dancing while others look like they're being forced to sit there and watch something offensive. There is, however, a certain satisfaction in the fact that they had no idea of the greatness standing there in front of them. None of us could have predicted just how far this queen would take her influence....now, RuPaul is the most decorated black person in the history of the Emmy Awards and she has her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. If you can go as far as she has, success is the greatest middle finger you have to wave in the face of your detractors.

I know you posted this a year ago, but if you're still interested, there are quite a few more uploaded here on KZfaq. They can be tricky as simply searching The RuPaul Show brings up a lot of other stuff too. My advice: If you can find one, take a look through the channel that posted it or take a look at the suggested links.

Only thing I’d probably say is Ru should’ve worked the crowed when she sang. “Snapshot” told everyone to stand up and dance. This song is so good, the beat is so infectious. ❤️

I’ve been trying to find this episode for years! I remember watching it when it aired on channel 4 in the UK in the 90s, and I was sure I remembered seeing British TV presenter Davina McCall ask a question from the audience, but Google brought nothing up so I thought I must have dreamt it! I found part 2 of the episode & spotted her in the audience, and now I’ve found part 1! Davina’s at the 13:20 mark!
