Jinkx will forever be my favorite winner of the 5 seasons, what a beautiful face and such kindness. Minded her own business, accepted the hate she got from the trio, Alaska, Detox, Roxxxy and she still won. LOVE LOVE LOVE HER.

@@jaedalozada9116 there is this funny gag going around that due to the fact that Sharon broke some records on RPDR and changed the idea of the show (previously only won by girls, who were beauty/fashion/peagent queens). She was the first winner to win while doing spooky and dark stuff - led to changing the whole concept of the show, as in which kind of queens were allowed on the show or liked to be seen. The curse is "Everything Sharon touches, wins or anyone associated with Sharon wins" or smth like that. - Jinkx auditioned the first time for S5 and won that season - due to the love and popularity Sharon gained by winning S4. Jinkx thought she wasn't somthing they'd be looking for. - Chad, the runner-up from S4 and a friend of Sharon, won AS1. - Alaska, ex-boyfriend of Sharon, won AS2. - Violet Chachki, who apparently stole Sharon's crown, won S7. - Aquaria, drag daughter of Sharon, won S10. - Yvie Oddly another example is also really spooky and she'd never won S11 without Sharon's impact on the show prior.

I seriously don't get how Roxxy was freaking out after shooting this like "I didn't know a courtroom scene was supposed to be funny" when literally she's shown dancing, spitting water and dodging a book in her courtroom scenes here. Clearly it wasn't supposed to be serious girl.

she had such an issue with comedy but pageant girls are sometimes the funniest ones, coco won the comedy challenge, alyssa turned into a meme generator, ginger minj and kennedy both tied for snatch on their season, even ru thought roxxxy's performance in draggle rock was good

Season 5 was the first season I watched, and I fucking loved it; it was great because all the girls were individually strong, the challenges&runway were good, plus nobody would have thought that Jinkx would've won! Nowadays the winner is so predictable after the first few episodes!

Except it was kind of obvious Ru wasn't going to let anyone in Rolaskatox win because of what their clique was doing the whole season and he wouldn't want any future queens thinking they can become drag superstar by forming alliances and looking out for each other when it's a race and your focus should be on yourself that way individuals like Jinkx don't get treated like the misfit outsider she admitted to feeling like at the very end all her life

Rolaskatox and Katya in AS2 was very different than Rolaskatox and Jinkx in S5... Katya had confidence coming into AS and generally everyone liked her, Roxxxy wasn't going to bully anyone anymore and Detox was very professional until the very end when she eliminated Alyssa. Rolaskatox (really Rotox) was ruthless with Jinkx

I think the storyline is that all of them got into jail then scape in the car but they had a car accident where all of them die and go to heaven. I think that's why the song is called this is the beginning of the rest of your life cause you star a new eternal life in heaven.

This song really brings tears to my eyes. I remember watching this season during a really difficult time in my life and this song gave me hope. The video is hilarious and brings back good memories of watching it and of how it got me through. I haven't watched rpdr in years and this feels like a lifetime ago but I feel like this will always be one of my fave RuPaul songs

I still can't listen to this song without crying, The Monsoon season was so intense and legit, I am so proud of Jinxy she was so vulnerable but she stayed strong through all the shit the other girls put her through. Not only does this song remind me so much about the beautiful moments this season. But goddamn this is also my favourite Rupaul song of all time, it helped me get through the hard times, its like a hug yknow?, i call her mother :)

Jinkx Monsoon is everything. She ruled this season. I've noticed that the winners - except Raja, who got herself distracted by her clique (and that season was fixed, anyway; Manila Luzon should have won) - have been focused on the competition, their craft, and winning. None of the other bullshit distracted them. Sharon, Bianca, Violet, Chad, Tyra - all super focused on winning. Alaska was smart but realized too late that she had allowed letting herself getting into a clique to distract from the competition and the importance of self. Ginger was distracted by worrying about what others were doing; so busy throwing shade. Violet was smart and took the criticism and used it for personal growth. Roxxxy was too intimidated by Jinkx. Phi Phi was a psycho; the smallest thing got her unhinged. She still makes ridiculous jokes in bad taste. Courtney was and is too judgmental.

This is the most entertaining and my favey video for the finalists since Season 2. Love the song and, man, that Jinkx is great. Even miserable Roxxxy did great in this with that hair flipping back and forth. Werk it girl!
