A lot, and i mean a lot of people really dislike this movie. But i really enjoy it every time i see it. The armor battle at the end where lots of "iron men" come in is just a really cool scene, I wish there were more MCU scenes like this

Personally despite the film’s problems I enjoy _Iron Man 3_ moreso than _Iron Man 2_ cause the 2nd film’s shortcomings come from Justin Theroux who wrote the 2nd film and where everything felt flat so its a good thing he didn’t return to write/co-write the third film.

Because this just isn't Tony. Duda has been portrayed to be a genius who makes mistakes but learns from them and more importantly prepares for them the best he can using his inventions, you see none of that character in this movie. Has dozens of really cool and strong armors but goes into combat with the only one that isn't ready and among other mistakes just because Marvel wanted to show the "human" side.... They just dumbed down his character for this movie and made no sense.

I think ppl were just upset abt the Mandarin twist. I feel now that we got a better and more real Mandarin, ppl may see Iron Man 3 differently. Imo it’s not bad but it’s not very good either. My issue with it is the over usage of comedy.

Babu is an absolute joy to watch, I love his songs at the end and I think Raeen is far more clever than he gives himself credit for. I get panic attacks too sometimes. For a while I didn't know what was happening. You really do believe you're going to die, like it's going to be some kind of heart attack or a stroke. At least I know what's going on now. But I'm still working on how to handle them when it starts to happen. When it does, it can be absolutely terrifying. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Seeing Iron Man, the coolest Avenger, suffering from some realistic panic attacks helped a lot of people in rl out there. This is one of the reason why I love this film.

Agreed, the third film may had problems, but honestly I enjoyed this one more than _Iron Man 2_ I had a feeling that most of the weak stuff from the second film such as the one-dimensional villains and Tony Stark being a complete dick and POS had to do with Justin Theroux who wrote the second film and since he didn’t co-wrote the third film at least the third film made it enjoyable to watch.

It sets up Age of Ultron in comics it isn’t about like or dislike it’s about collecting every thread of the story. The comic industry is a publishing co. so the way they think is like Pokémon, “Got to catch them all.” Movies are about box office and comics and toys are about completionism. Not every item needs to be equal in quality to each other because each item affects the entirety of the collection. It’s a house and the movies are bricks. No one wants a big hole in their house. 😊

@@EChacon totaly agree, the villian, and the suitcase suit were boring, and laughable. I meen the film had some great moments, such as the worlds power suit design flaws. But yeah the film being him losing all humility was kinda a drag when the first film was all about teaching tony stark a slight humility. I like the third because mabey its too fragile, but atleast it seems like theres a threat, as his suit does get damaged. The first film made him have little percivable threat and 2 continued this angle… yes the suits shouldent be like glass, but some suspense and damage is nice. The first film is still my favorit of the 3 but this felt like a better sequal. Also found the manderin juke interesting, I know any comic book fan was ferrous, and if this is lowest on that acount, I agree with them, after all they are the oldest fans.

There is a definite theme throughout this movie of Tony’s stuff, his suits, his tech is amazing but, ultimately, Tony’s just a regular human. He’s having to deal with fighting gods and alien hordes and nukes almost blowing him up. How would you fine gentlemen hold up under pressure and stress like that? If I folded like a house of cards, it wouldn’t surprise me.

Finally someone who has the same opinion as me. Yes Tony is a genius but he is also just a normal human like everyone else. He was kidnapped, held hostage for 3 month, a magnet in his chest is the 1 thing that's keeping him alive, he had to kill someone who was very close to him, he almost died because of the very thing that was supposed to keep him alive and then to top that off New York happened and he almost got blown up by a nuke in space. Yeah I don't think it's weird or out of character that his mental health took a turn to the worse. I think it's no surprise that he developed PTSD and a panic disorder because of that. You said "this just isn't Tony" but the theme of this movie becomes the core of his character in the later MCU movies. In the later movies it's clear that he made a lot of improvements but he is clearly still struggling with his mental health.

What helps is that major plot points aren't spoiled in the poster and the trailers. Everyone knew Tony's home would be blown up, that he would land on the bottom of the ocean. These guys didn't, they genuinely had no idea what was about to happen.

The bad guy for this film has the same motivation as the bad guy from the Incredibles (he was a FAN and then Tony high-roaded him, just like Mr. Incredible did to Buddy) It probably has about 10 combined seconds of "Iron Man" actually BEING fucking Iron Man (actually WEARING the suit... HIMSELF... and USING it to y'know... DO THINGS....) who THEN proceeds to instead use all the Iron Man suits like they are _unmanned drones._ In Iron Man 2 we had Ivan saying "drones are better" and then Tony punched that idea in the face with his SUIT. In THIS movie... Tony has decided that Ivan was right all along. I guess. and then he doesn't even win. Pepper does with her new glowie-powers. and he blows all his suits up just so that 1 make-out session with her can be all the sweeter {a makeout session which should have probably MELTED him thanks to her new glowie-powers, I will point out...}. An ending that is basically a giant middle finger to anyone that is a fan of the CONCEPT of "Iron Man". "Fuck the powers, bitches are better" screams this ending. and I'm just sat there like "great. guess we'll just all go FUCK ourselves the next time an Avengers-level threat comes along while Tony just gets LAID for the billionth time instead...." {oh but he's got LOVE this time "it's different" fuck off. He loved Morgan too, did THAT matter, in the end? quit with the feaux-logic defending irrational emotional drivel.} You guys liked this? great. Guess it's true what they say. One Man's trash really is another man's treasure. (but in this case... the man who thinks it's trash is more right. sorry.)

Man IM3 really destroys Tony's MCU character in a way. Throughout all the infinity Saga you see Tony learning from all his mistakes and preparing the best he can, in this movie he commits every mistake in the books. Threatens a terrorist but wears his most useless armor, sets 0 perimeter watch over his house, waits till the very end to tell Jarvis to send better armors. Like I get it, the whole point was to show Tony in danger without his suit for us to see his human side but we have already seen it, he was and still is the same human that made it out of a cave with a bunch of scraps, let him fix stuff the best way he does making and using armors not turning him into some adult home alone/MacGyver mix. It would be like Batman hanging up the suit and taking the Joker to court to convince him not to kill people by talking, that just isn't Batman.

The four most iconic Superheroes are: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Spider-man. They've seen the Dark Knight/Batman movies by Nolan (only the first two were good). They should see superman The Movie '78, easily the best superman film ever, both Gal Gadot Wonder Woman movies, and The Amazing Spider-man movie with Andrew Garfield, 2012, as the earlier Toby McGuire movies were not that great (except maybe no.2 with Doc Ock). Also they should see Aquaman, Logan and the other Wolverine movies along with the Sony X-men films, Blade 1 & 2, Ant-man, and Black Panther, before Captain America Civil War and the rest of the Avengers movies.
