❤❤❤ it. I recently started doing this as well. I absolutely love it. You do your pots so exquisitely. I’ve have yet to try dirt along with the joint compound while wet. Definitely gonna give that a try. Thank you so much. ❤

Fabulous good for you love the garden pots. A tip on moles if they get in your garden put blue toilet blocks down it chases them off a grounds man told me this tip when I had them in my lawn they soon went strong Jeyes toilet blocks 😉

I tried this with some of my spices and even though it's dry now, the spices keep flaking off. I made sure to rub them in while it was still wet, so I don't know what I did wrong.

Absolutely!! Although I’d probably finish it with a matt lacquer just to seal it 😊

I love your decoration. Coincidentally, I also use this technique. Born because I live in a country where you couldn't buy lime paint and similar products when I started. So I started experimenting myself. You can use all kinds of construction plaster. Such as various wall repair powders, adhesives for tiles, grout and even cement. Various products have different structures and colours. I also use it with various paints. It works great. You can also use other application techniques to get a different effect.

I’m thinking about showing how I do the effect on the mirror behind the finished pots in the cottage… that was a black £10 charity shop find that I revamped 😁 If you have any video suggestions please do let me know 😊

Do have to prime the pots first? OK there not going outside. Really pretty

No you don’t with this method. Also this technique is for indoors only, if you want pots to go outside please watch my Plastic To Stone video as it has different products that are suitable for the exterior 😊

New sub here. I adore you and your channel. My kinda lady. Do you find that the quick dry joint compound works better than the regular dry? I’ve seen it used in paper mache as well.

Yaay! Welcome 🙏🏻 Quick dry joint compound: oh definitely, especially when using it in mild or damp weather…which we are getting a lot of at the moment! If you can work quickly in hot weather then go for the quick dry every time 😁
