Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s…..my favorite colors were green, orange, yellow to decorate with as I became so interested in Decorating at an early age of eleven! Thanks to my granny who owned an Antique Store and taught me how to refinish furniture as well as many other things like sewing and keeping a garden. A look into my past and I still love those color combinations but only in certain applications. I’m a white chippy gal by heart. I found it very refreshing seeing all my favorite colors in your veranda! As always you’ve knocked it out of the park in your brilliant ways of decorating ❤

Tracey your porch looked amazing after you'd dressed it. Those two chairs were lovely, and the re-vamp of those dining chairs, well done they turned out beautifully. You did a grand job on those pillow and thinking your daughter may be missing a sewing machine for a while. I must admit I miss you every Sunday but thankful for the every other. Hi Tracey, hope you’re soaking up the Greek sunshine 🌞 I’ve got to admit when I first saw the green paint I really wasn’t sure as I love aged whites, pale greys and light grey/blues but I’ve got to say I love how it all turned out and looks so good with all the greens in your garden. Well done with the sewing, I’ve made my own cushion covers for years ( envelope style ) as it’s so easy and yes, you’ll find it’s addictive! 😝

I have made throw pillow covers like yours but with one straight piece of fabric. I just fold the piece to make the pocket. No need to cut the back piece into 2 pieces & then sew them back on. Very simple!
