2 ай бұрынI own 6 Ruroc Helmets, and since the Ruroc 1.0, the Ruroc EOX Review is the first one that I will not be covering on my channel. The reason is that this brand has not respected that I didn't want to get information about there product anymore since I decided I don't want to get information about their products anymore I wanted to lose track of their helmet collection and gear since they are not one of the best options for me since the team have changed. There Shockwave is improved on this new version but that's it when we talk about improvements from Ruroc Carbon Fiber helmets. The Ruroc Atlas 4.0 is a massive disappointment and I'm sure the Ruroc EOX Review will not be different. You can believe in the reviews of motorcycle and motovlogging but I can tell you they are not properly testing them and saying how bad they are.

After 3 minutes into your video I realized that you in fact do not own a EOX nor did you have intent of reviewing one, even if your title says it is such (clickbait) and I also see how defensive you are in your replies to people’s comments. I suggest instead of bashing a company because of previous politics and previous helmets, title it differently. As this was a review of their 4.0 not their eox.

Thank you so much for your comment. Is not a question to be defensive. I get your point but in this case I didn’t do for reasons of clickbait but because of SEO.. this video is about the Ruroc EOX and looking to the other model they sell and inform people why they should stay away from the brand. But thank you for your comment but far from bashing a brand like I said if that was the intention I would have done that one year ago… do you think is normal that I request to have my details removed from the system and like one year later I start to be bombarded with publicity? I’m sure that I’m doing a favor for some of the people that will be seeing the video if I would spend 600 pounds in a helmet from a brand that never done a 600 pounds helmet I would like to know how they’ve been doing before investing my money :)

I get what you're saying... but his points are still valid. 6 months ago I bought a 4.0 Carbon (the emerald green one). Couple of weeks in, rubber on the bottom started coming off in the same places, super glued it back on (no big deal, it stayed after that). Had similar issues with one of their $180 photochromic visors, wouldn't close all the way without excessive force... then if you could get it to close, it was difficult to open. Luckily, they sent me a second on by mistake... it wasn't in my original delivery but said delivered, I told them I didn't get it, so they shipped a new one, and the original showed up the next day... anyways, second shield opened/closed better, still not great... but no pin lock capability (on a $180 shield). The helmet sucked in cool weather because air constantly came in hitting your face... even with the vents closed. And no breath guard, so it fogged up easily. Overall, I'd rank the helmet somewhere between my $300 Icon and my $400 HJC RPHA 70... the helmet was $585 and is no where close to my Shoei RF1400 from a comfort, quality, or ventilation standpoint. After all the KZfaq raving about how good the 4.0 is compared to previous models, I'd very highly doubt that the new EOX is a significant step up in quality from the 4.0. And if they resolved the issues with the 4.0, I'm still not sure it's worth Shoei prices... the helmet wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good either. I'd expect the same from the EOX

I can because I own 6 products of them and if a product they still sell that I have 4 units and £1800 worth of this pile of garbage and one month later they all started to give issues the EOX that cost even more £125 is not going to be different. They just look nice quality control doesn’t exist in this company otherwise how you explain that 2 Ruroc 4.0 same size one is fine and the other is not is too tight? £600 for a helmet is a lot of money for a helmet. If you buy a shark of £150 per example feels superior in quality than this 4.0 so with one you can buy 3 helmets… can you justify £600 worth it of this Ruroc EOX? What they have done that makes it better than a Shoe of similar to one? Because that’s where they are competing … do you believe after making such a bad product (that they are still selling) they now pass from a helmet from Wish website to a premium product? Only if you believe in miracles… if they trusted their product after a bad review like this I would have contacted the content creator and say “your comment on the EOX is not fair you didn’t try we will send you a unit for you to try and share your thought”… they know that I’m honest because when everyone was falling on them because of the 2.0 or 3.0 I defended them this 4.0 and using my email to promote their helmet when I removed myself is away from defence.

@MADpack I can't justify the price of it yet because I don't own one and neither do you. You're basing this on your experience of the company, every atlas 4 I've owned (5 overall) have been absolutely worth the money and I love the quality but I'm still not going to extend that same line of thinking to the eox. I won't automatically assume it'll be the same, just as you shouldn't believe it'll be rubbish based on your experience with the Atlas. Seems odd that you dislike them so much but own 6 helmets too. You can't ask questions like what makes it better than other helmets and then use that against ruroc when you do not have an eox and cannot base it on your experience with an eox helmet. You're asking those questions based on previous experience with their helmets, and trying to use those answers for a new helmet which you haven't even tried so you can't hold that against them. This isn't a "review" of the helmet. You're just another one of those ex promoters looking to give ruroc more bad rep because you got given the boot

Or wait you think that I have pull out the rubbers, cut the other rubber, damage the visor of the helmet of my wife, damage the vents that’s what you think? I’m just saying the truth and them restarting to bombard me with publicity when I request the delete of my info? I have proofs of them lying saying that I didn’t erased one of my emails of the system but the other sent me a message saying they have found my two emails on the system… so which misleading info? @@MADpack I do not work for Ruroc, and Yes I have 1 helmet and no issues whatsoever. I just feel that doing a review without actually having the EOX says a lot about you, and also call it garbage. But again that is something you will need to sort our with your life not me. And look at all the comments you have from others in the same direction. These type of reviews will take you to the wrong places.

Plus this is a review of the brand and not the EOX but my thought about the overall experience with Ruroc and why I dont believe to be a cleaver move to buy one. If you don’t understand the meaning of review of your go to google to understand the meaning here is the explanation just to help you A review is judgement or discussion of the quality of something. Review also means to go over a subject again as part of study or to look at something another time. Review has many other senses as both a noun and a verb. This is not a review of the Eox. Most are aware of the issues with the Atlas but this is a brand new helmet and I think unfair to "review" it based on previous failings.

Man is your money your choice I’m just letting people know what is the Ruroc 4.0 and why this is just going to be another failure from them… if they were so confident on their product they will continue to send them to be reviewed to all content creators not only to the ones they control what comes out :) simple once again this video is informative is up to you to decide if you want to open the window and send your money out :)

@@MADpack no not at all. I don't know if it's worth it as I haven't owned one or seen a credible review. Your video is not a review of the eox. It's a review of previous products. I've never owned a ruroc but saw a review video, yours, of the eox. The title is clickbait. It's a review of other helmets not the eox.

@benj5386 is not clickbait is me explaining as an owner of 6 Ruroc helmets and 4 of the other model that they are selling that quality doesn’t exist. If you think is worth it to spend £600 in a company that deliver a £450 in such a low quality up to you. The Ruroc 4.0 is not an old product is just another helmet from them and I can tell you multiple helmets of £150 pounds that feel much better constructed than this. Who is thinking to buy an EOX should know the truth about Ruroc and there actual line of helmets. And yes I didn’t review the EOX but I own all helmets until the EOX and can tell you is not worth it £600

I have a day one release 3.0. I love the helmet. I have had issues with it. Rubber falling apart, even on the shockwave the rubber is low quality. I still love the helmet. I have been looking at going to a different brand lately and then this EOX came up. I really don’t wanna spend the time dealing with sizing issues like I did with 3.0. I measured my head and ordered and did not come close to fitting. Second helmet “fit” fairly loosely but eventually the came out with thicker pads. I’m glad you made this because I have test fit a different helmet, measurement to size was spot on. I think the only thing I’ll miss is the sick graphics Ruroc does. Thanks for the video.

Ruroc talking about me was a community, where you could even talk to the owner it had a different vibe they cared about you this guy that took over and pushed out who started the business they don't care about you me or any of us they just care about our money and this company is not worth it at all unfortunately. I will miss my designs and the aggressive look but I'm tired of this and when. They don't even respect my personal data we can see that they reach the bottom

It's a shame as I was going to buy the liquid carbon but mainly due to the looks but all I have seen is pretty bad reviews tbh. They need to slow down and rethink their quality issues and stop rushing new ones to the market that are crap. If these were around the £250 to £300 for the carbon I may give it a go but I am not spending £500 + to be a Guinee pig. When higher brands are the same price. Thanks for the honest review.

That rubber seal coming off on the bottom sides of your Batman 4.0 happened to mine as well (I superglued mine, not ideal on a £450 helmet before extras...). Really disappointing as it's such a good looking helmet. The clips holding the padding in place are very weak and in a review I've seen on KZfaq for the EOX suggests that it's the same. I noticed how bad the clips were on mine when I mounted the Shockwave, the now frequently unclip themselves when putting the helmet on or taking it off. The photochromatic visor is definitely a lot tighter to open and close than the normal ones I had previously. Although the top vent is fairly easy to open and close, it has almost no impact on air flow that I can tell. The chin vents are very awkward to reach if you have any slightly thicker gloves on. I'll definitely not be buying another Ruroc again. Great looking but poor quality on the finishing.

I have always taken ruroc for cheap crap. I've never really known them to be a quality brand. Maybe I'm wrong, not a big deal...but personally I'm not interested in trying them out. My personal helmet is a AGV K6s and I feel it's basically entry level into quality helmets. I've put 11k miles on it in 8 months and it's held up perfectly. Not trying to start a flame war with my comments - these are meant to highlight a general opinion that I've found. Most people I've spoken to about the brand agree. Don't pay for fancy graphics. Pay for a safe, high quality helmet and graphics be damned.

i have had 3 Rurocs and and i wont be buying anymore. they are way overpriced for what they are and are relying on the looks for sales there a £200 to £250 helmet max. there not a patch on other premium brands at the same price point. and being a brit and them a british company its embarrasing

Since the team changed Ruroc died they used to care about what we had to say but they stopped doing it and they really don’t care.. there answer to my emails about my data protection was “do with this information whatever you want” that shows how much they care. Exactly I also have a Ruroc 3.0 and no issues.. and 4 Ruroc 4.0 that even if I have only one head so if you think the 4.0 come out maybe 2 years ago max I didn’t use them more than 6 month each and I have more helmets so yeah disappointing

My 4.0 Hollow Atlas fell apart. They're garbage and I will stand with the statement that the EOX is probably trash also. They finally got rid of the side fake vents at least, what a horrible idea to begin with. The EOX is honestly real no game changer compared to the Atlas 4.0. IF anything they should be selling them for like 250. FU*K Craproc.

I review all there helmets until the 4.0 that is just a pile of garbage if you want to trust a brand that is been selling helmets at this price that come apart is up to you not my money I just shared 4 helmets 4.0 with problems do you believe something have change go ahead… the money is yours… investing in a brand that use your data without authorisation and sell garbage at the price of gold and you want to buy I think we know that if you want to buy it is genius from you ;)

Honestly if you’re a motorcyclist just buy from a reputable brand. Shoei, Arai, HJC, AGV, Shark etc. if you have a huge crash you’re gonna actually wish you stuck with a brand that literally specialises in Motorcycle racing. Not Ruroc. Absolute garbage

This is not a review of the EOX at all.... highly disappointed. This is more of a commentary on the company itself. Eox is pronounced Eos btw, its another god from mythology. It symbolizes a rebirth. They are trying to do better as a company. Hence the rebrand from Atlas

Sorry if you are disappointed the video is clear see this before buying and this is passing all the information that I have about the brand. When a brand ignores your request to remove your data and continues for one year later to push marketing campaigns for their product that shows they have rebirth In a massive pile of garbage because a company that doesn't even respect their customer shows how much they care about you... They just want your money for their junk. If you want to believe in what you said go ahead the 4.0 is already the rebirth of this new direction that got in charge of the company just read the comments and see how many had the same problems.. Ruroc is just garbage since they took over the company from the original owner they just care about selling you a good design wrapped on pure garbage. Or you think that from last gen that is still been sold on their website that all 4 I have have problems the new one is worth it £600? Come on be realistic they sold a crap product from almost £500 and now you think is a good idea to give them an extra £125 pounds for this Ruroc EOX Garbage ?

Sorry if you don’t get it the same way are people upset (many of them upset to say that their money was put into a piece or garbage) is just a question of time until you see more negative reviews of this people that were upset because nobody wants to know that they invested in the wrong horse. I can see for you to be so into this one is because you want to spend money into this crap or you work for Ruroc. Since I want to believe you don’t work for them I believe you don’t have money issues and you want to bet your money into this garbage. Go ahead and be disappointed. Have a great day. I can see that you own a Ruroc and is hard to hear when things are not good about what we have at home… my experience is with 4 units do you need what 50 helmets side by side to get the point? The same way I spend years defending this brand when everyone was attacking them I’m just saying the truth. Plus my personal data is my personal data I request to remove it from their data base and they just ignore it and use it to promote their product. The same that happened to me for sure Ruroc have done it to others… a brand that don’t respect their customers and drop in quality like they dropped is not worth it.. £600? For their I by a Shoei man design is not everything … if the objective was to try to offend me sorry you missed :) have a good day and accept that our helmet is just pure garbage … it hurts less

been 3 MC dealership D2 Moto/HarleyDavidson/Honda and they all unequivocally said to stay away from RUROC it is just a TikTok fuddcrap. oh full disclosure I am a beginning rider at 62. I bought the Shoei RF1400 so far been 1 month I have no problem and been to one more advance rider course and have been complemented for choosing a good helmet

I completely agree with you they were already expensive for £450 but now they go to the same level of price of a shoei is just ridiculous and my 4 Ruroc 4.0 after a month they all started to give me problems so the EOX will not be different
