THIS STORY IS A GREAT ONE. IT'S ONE OF THE FEW STORIES THAT HAS IMPACTED MY LIFE. I FIRST SAW SAMURAI X, WHEN I WAS A FRESHMAN IN COLLEGE, AND IT HAS NOT ONLY STAYED WITH ME, IT LED ME TO EARN A MASTER'S IN JAPANESE HISTORY, FOCUSING ON MEDIEVAL JAPAN AND THE SAMURAI CLASS, BUT ALSO TO LEARN BOTH THE JAPANESE LANGUAGE AS WELL AS THE ART OF THE SWORD AND THE SPEAR.

@@jeffsanti yes im a sucker for really good soundtracks. Yet it is such a good story of redemption if not the best redemption story in modern fiction. As well as the perfect illustration of how evil is like an all-consuming flame that needs fuel or it will burn itself out

Quiet Life is the best part for me, it hit me so hard that i started crying for no reason i just remember when i first saw this anime back in year 2000 makes me sad but same time happy.
