Saw them on the same tour in the NEC Hall Birmingham U.K. where portions of A Show Of Hands were recorded. Travelled all the way from Brussels, Belgium to see that show. Primus was a great opening act because we didn’t know what to expect having only heard their music but never seeing any of their videos or live video recordings. They didn’t disappoint but Rush will always be right up there as one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Each band member was a virtuoso in their own right but together, an unstoppable force, there hasn’t been a band like them ever since their inception. What amazed me was their ability to recreate their intricate studio recordings live and I was like absolutely blown away. They will always be the measuring standard for me in terms of studio and live performances and careful attention to their craft.

How many people attended Wembley that day? I'm very curious because webley can seat 80.000 people!! Back in 1982 Rush sold out Wembley 4 nights in a row!! in May.😯

@@ThunderZandor i'd be lying to you if i said i knew, but it was sold out 100% But i can still see the two huge white rabbits in top hats on either side of the stage in my mind lol- i still have the ticket stubs actually.

@@Kkorkykatt Me too, ticket stub is proof i was there in Toronto & you in London. I missed the opening with Primus, those guys kick some serious heavy music, but was able to see them in a small club.

@ThunderZandor @ThunderZandor Hey, it's not a different angle, basically the footage above has existed as a bootleg dvd under the name "casting lots in Jacksonville" for a few years. However, it's not a first gen copy, it appears to be a second or third generation tape copy, the quality is good but not perfect. Then one day I came across an upload of most of the concert (missing the last 8 or so songs) apparently uploaded by the guy who filmed it - a first generation digital copy of the master tape, superb quality, in my opinion the clearest footage of the era. I got in touch with the dude, and for the last five years, he has strung me along promising to give me a copy, but kept giving excuse after excuse for why he couldn't do it yet, promising in days, weeks, or months, he would send it. Since then I have repeatedly made serious attempts to find a copy of it, posts in Facebook groups, community posts on my own channel, reaching out to people like Snowdog begging for a copy, and to this day nobody has responded or helped me to get it 🤣. So, I've officially fucking given up...

@@StickHits Ha, 😄that's funny how you ended your message but i can symphatize as you been a collector or RUSH. Yeah, i love the camera angle here, you get a clear view of all three specially Alex strumming clearly. The name of the boot is rather strange-casting lots-,lol!...But wait a second where did those 1st gen uploads show up at KZfaq?, ( there must be a way of downloading that with some program). For myself a got a clear 2nd or 3rd gen copy on VHS, (way back|), from the guy that filmed the 2 Toronto shows in 1990 for the Presto tour. I went into his apartment where he had an archive of all his boots from other performers such as Prince, Stones, Madonna..there were so many, all i wanted was the Rush-he told me he was going to sell most of them). I think he was also the guy that filmed the 1988 HYF tour in Toronto, (not sure about that), and i bought that downtown from him, (well, i think it was him), He has a channel on youtube that will send you a master of that show for some money and apparently it's 13gigs compared to the compressed version on YT. I dunno if your interested-let me know.

@@medmac2112 was in Cincinnati we had seats high up, on Lee’s side, like 5 rolls before the last going up. Acoustically, it was horrible compared to the then Worcester Centrum.

@@hanglee5586 Hmmm, sounds like a venue issue to me then. Were there any problems with the show itself? It’s one of my favourite tours judging strictly on bootlegs because I never got to see them live :(

@@medmac2112 yes the bootlegs cds were incredible.

You know, I've seen 11 tours, and I agree. However, it was the only indoor Rush show I saw. RTB was largely a winter tour, at least the first leg, so I'm not surprised if many of the indoor venues sucked acoustically. I was at the Nov 91 Milwaukee show, at the Bradley Center, now torn down thank God, lol, and the acoustics were just awful. Rush then came back and did a show in June of 92 at Alpine Valley (East Troy, 30 min SW of Milwaukee), and I saw that show too...but the Presto show from 1990 at Alpine Valley, for whatever reason, was just better acoustically as well. Weird. I have a hard time ranking my top 5 Rush shows I saw, but RTB at the Bradley Center was by far the worst...not even a close call.
