The show at Pine Knob was on Sept 10, ‘79. Went with friends and had no idea who Rush was but knew the ‘Boom Boom..’ tune from Pat Travers which he was playing when we walked in. You could say Rush made an pretty big impression!! 😊 I listened to ABX back then but I don’t remember this guy interviewing.

Several moments in this interview when Alex and Geddy were probably giving each other looks wondering if there was maybe someone else at the station they could talk to instead of this guy. A tad unprepared and clueless.

WABX eventually became WLLZ. Some of the dj's and program director came to our school promoting WLLZ when it first started. Can't say for sure who they were but I remember it.
