RIP Neil Peart; besides his musical talent, I'll also remember him as a veteran motorcyclist.

Adventure motorcycling was a true passion for Neil. It allowed him the privacy and freedom to be himself and not get swallowed up in all the fame and trappings of being a rock star. R.I.P. and ride on Neil, always in the wind.

I seen Rush in concert 2 times back in the 80s he played a hell of a drum solo.. I just turned 59 and sold my bike 🤷🏻‍♂️..RIP Neil

cool! I've done that before, I watched him ride in on the TFE tour into Columbus Ohio. He almost ran me over. I was very nervous standing between the busses when he and Brutus rolled up. Thanks for uploading this!

Neil did own a Ducati 916 at one point: a gift from his late wife. He mentions in "Ghost Rider" that he kept it indoors and didn't take it out much, if at all.

His preferred bike is a BMW R1200 -- there's lots of footage and pics of Neil and this bike. Ducati? Well, the man could own one -- I'm sure his garage is large enough.

And he slips by, like a rider in the night -- okay, more like mid afternoon. Anyway, he slips by on his BMW R1200 -- SWEET. But it would be cooler if Neil was riding a Ducati. A red Ducati. Why doesn't Neil ride a red Ducati 'superbike'?
