What’s good, Bill? Always wondered “who’s that Toronto guy!?” I was the kid who shot all the Hollywood Sportatorium stuff in florida from 1987-88 and some subsequent stuff after that. Used to trade tapes by mail back in the day. I knew Pierre up in Montreal, Otto in Detroit, Frank in Poughkeepsie, NY and Gray in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Then there was Mike in CT. The last two and myself took cameras into monsters of rock in NJ in ‘88. Lol. Great times man. Gotta say, you had balls my friend! Great camera work and sensibility. Beautiful job man! Nice to finally know there was and still is Bill in Toronto! Great to finally find out who you are after, oh, 34 years! Lol God bless ya man.

Holy crap, just saw your profile pic. Lol. Great cam brother! I used to bring a full size VHS Panasonic with a 2X lens screwed on the front. Would leave a barrel around the picture when you zoomed back lol. Love the strapped on dynamic mic! No wonder the audio sounds great after all this time. Concerts sounded better back then, with point source PA systems. You can clearly hear it - it sounds fuller than modern line array systems. Anyways, thanks for the memories man! Excellent work my friend.

@@ryanbrooks8544 That was a Sony Video-8. The later stuff was shot on a Canon Hi-8 that had a much better mic.

Been a huge Rush fan since I’ve turned my 8 yr old self onto the 2112 Lp. Since they started becoming more keyboards and mullets this is when I had said Goodbye to that legendary act. Cuz if you’re a Rock & Roll band; guitars are still a definite must. Being older now though I have to give all bands like Pink Floyd; King Crimson; Ultravox and naturally Rush a huge pass on what I once believed due to this much larger pathway they were to follow.
