for those who never realized, at 5:55 Neil omits the 8th hi-hat note in the song (so you’ll hear 7 hi-hats with a pause on the 8th). this is extremely hard to pick up for unattuned ears and this guy nailed it. every cover I've seen on KZfaq has totally overlooked this detail. cheers for nailing the fine details bro!

What I love about Neil the most is not his drumming ability but how he arranged the drums to fit into the song.

Starting at around 3:17 and ending around 3:30, your knowledge and use of the hi hat’s opening and closing quickly is nothing short of a masterful touch, Sterling. Many covers miss this. You are following in the professor’s footsteps to a “T.” And I must mention your ghost notes..perfectly executed. Neil is smiling down on you! I’m a huge fan of yours and enjoy and appreciate your hard work. Thank you for what you do.

Incredible!! I've seen Rush probably 15 times (starting in 1982 on the Signals tour) and this drumming is right up there with the late great Peart's.
