I just got into Rush in 2020 and I can’t believe I didn’t start liking these guys earlier like they’re unbelievable!!

Love how the stage guys just casually walk on and reconfigure the speakers like there is no problem.

my first concert in 77 RUSH ... I had never heard them before that night...Farewell to Kings ....Cygnus X1 blew my fucking mind .....40yrs later having seen them 11 times ..literally part of my soul these guys....Neil what can I say ...we miss you and will play these tunes as loud as we can till the day we die ...

To the entire Peart family, your loved one is missed beyond comprehension. The legacy he has left us all though is amazing. Millions were influenced and appreciated him. I'm heartbroken, I will never get to see this live magic again.

I heard a guy say during Neil's solo: "Can you believe this?" I said the same thing myself when I had the ever thankful privilege to be able to see them live on their Hemispheres tour when it came out. I still say it to this day. Neil Peart is as unbelievable now as he ever was. This man will always be the benchmark of percussion perfection and will never take away anything from his equals who he has the God given blessing to play with - Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee. Thank you Lord for gracing this ungrateful planet with RUSH!

This song cygnus x-1 book 1, was like when you watched a great tv show that left you in suspense and wanting more when it finished,to be continued..............then the epic Hemispheres quenched our thirst.

I saw rush in Toronto for the Hemi tour ive been fortunate to have seen them live 14 times .

as far as humans are able to reach it, this is it : THIS IS PERFECTION ... !!! { how sad it might be for us 'music-lovers' & how well deserved it most certainly is for 'our 3 canucks' : RUSH , just enjoy your achievements as artists & musicians (& writer...), your retirement, your further lives & yourselves & your friends & (last but not the least at all) your families ... ; we will miss you as much as we thank you for all you've given us in 40+ years ; & your music (& lyrics) stay in our "hearts & minds" for the rest of our lives too... !!! }

Long time Rush fan and a drummer.. I saw them in Calgary on their last tour on my 50 th birthday.. What a concert. Neil's old school style kit sounded great. All three of them put on clinic....Loved how they played lots of the old stuff.. RIP Neil Peart.

What a big diff in Alex’s tone on that Les Paul and the original ES series he recorded and toured this album with. The LP here seemed “twangy” but the ES was deep and thick with that rich tone unique to it. So glad when Alex returned with it in the last tours to play the older stuff.

I finally got to hear this for the first time (though it was just the intro) at MSG. My all time favorite Rush song (Hemispheres). You will never have a band like this again, so we must teach the next generation to appreciate the holy triumvirate that is Rush

I'll never forget that last time I saw them in Columbus back in 2015. I tried to make the beginning of that day last as long as possible knowing it was going to be my last time seeing them. I held on to every second, every note and every lyric of the entire show. And when they walked off stage, something inside me died. I'm so thankful they made it to Ohio. R.I.P. Neil, the music world will never be the same without you sir.

Even at 63 years old in this video Neil Peart is still as powerful as ever I remember Neil peart in the early 90s he was like a tall skinny kid But when 1997 ca nnn e along he was huge Muscles bulging out of his shirts incredible dedication to his Craft Thatshy in my opinion he's the most skilled drummer That's why since 1980 he won countless Modern Drummer Magazines Readers poll #1 Spot and the youngest Drummer to ever be inducted to Modern Drummer Magazines Hll of Fame!!!!!!!!!!!

Hemispheres!! Gush! Like the first time I listened to that song! Even better LIVE! This album marked a turn upside down at RUSH history! Thank you guys! Endless moments! Big waves in Venezuela!

I got to see them in Calgary on this tour. I was sitting high up in the stands on stage right and had a commanding view of the stage. All I did was watch the Professor and thank the Universe for allowing me to experience such musical greatness. Thank you ,Rush.

Looked up the set list for my first show ..Evansville Indiana.. 1980..Permmeant Waves Tour.. 28 songs !!!.. Who plays 28 song's? RUSH. That's who !

Only Rush would consider adding this to their act...moving speakers around while playing this complex musical piece "hemispheres" I was laughing my ass off the first time I saw this video. Rush. by far the best band ...ever. No one can beat them, NOBODY! Zeppelin nope, Lynyrd Skynyrd no way, AC/DC no, Metallica no, The Who, The Stones, Queen, Styx, Journey, Triumph, Black Sabbath, Molly Hatchet, Allman brothers, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, Boston, BOC, and ELO they all might as well be boy bands compared to the genius, talent and longevity of RUSH! They are the only band I can listen to their music over and over and over again. At least future generations can enjoy them with KZfaq. Gaud bless Neil Peart. First concert I ever got to go see back in 1977 at the Paramount theatre and it's still fresh in my memories , Max Webster opened the show followed by Uriah Heap and RUSH finished a 90 minute set with 4 oncore's . Cygnus-X1 was the last song they played , Billion thank you's Canada .

Hemispheres was the first Rush album i heard and bought . They came to Ottawa and it was my second concert as a teen .( Queen was my first ) . it's still my fave album and my fave band.

God these guys are and were great!!! This is how it's done kids!!!!!

That drum solo !!! I've know drummers (no offense to them ,but just making a point) they couldn't hold a candle to Neil and they had horrible wrist/carpal tunnel issues. And not ever close to preforming as much as Rush has. Finally to point... Neils wrists must have been really troubling him at this point in time. Being a drummer period is a tough gig. Hats off to all of you drummers everywhere.

Neil absolutely tearing the covers off those drums. Miss him more every day...

And to think that they recorded this song one full note higher (they are tuned down a full step here). Ged is still giving it his all!!

Was it only me or did anyone else notice Alex has all his hair back?? :-) Seen these guys every tour since I was 17. Many multiple times. I just pray they have one more album for us. But if not, they gave me so much happiness and if Clockwork Angeles was it, a wonderfully perfect album to go out on..

Some em 1st in 1975 been going to their shows ever since. Seen them and Yes more than any other band. Best thing to come out of Canada. Top 5 band Ever 😊

It was so smart to end the Farewell to Kings album with "Cygnus X-1" & start the album Hemispheres with "Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres. I wish I could hear both live in the same concert. I have heard both live, but at individual concerts and years apart.

I was on the floor right next to FOH. I grew up in Houston and the Hemispheres tour was my first concert, ever. Nearly forty years later, to come full circle was poignant and still just as awe-inspiring!

I seen the rush hemispheres concert in Salt Lake City, at the salt Palace when I was like 16. Awesome concert Getty Lee had white hightops on LOL, but I’ve seen them like six times in concert.. My very favorite progressive rock band from the second I heard 2112 when I was 13 in 1976 I was hooked. What was weird my sisters were into them big time. It was their albums.

Nice as Geddy's tone on the Fender bass is here, I'm not entirely sure why he didn't choose his Rickenbacker 4001 bass for this song. Has a bit more tonal bite to it. Although the Fender sounds okay. It's cool Neil switched back to double-kick drums. They were his trademark, and then he switched to a single bass drum with a double-kick drum pedal instead. Two bass drums just look cooler than one.
