I agree with you Detrucci, Neil was the glue that made it all sound so smooth. His ability to smooth over the time changes and allow the band to transition in their music is what made them so legendary to see live.This was one of the bands favorites to play live. I believe this concert was in Rotterdam.

I actually got the Alex Lifeson Axcess Les Paul about 2 weeks ago. IT has Piezzo pick ups in the saddles on the bridge that give it that 'acoustic' sound - it's awesome 👍

Great reaction ! The arena was in Rotterdam in October 2007 . Always fun to see concert footage from Rush. If you check out the studio version of Natural science you're in for more guitar work from Alex. Rush on !!!

Love your enthusiasm! This is how I feel about this band!🤘🤘by far the greatest band ever! When Neil joined every thing fell into place. You have to watch all the documentaries! I agree with you I can’t pick just one favorite but this album is in my Top 5

Good choice! Geddy once said they were primarily a live band, so while sure, studio recordings are “perfect”, there is something really special about seeing these guys make the magic happen. I always pick live when it’s an option.

Natural Science live was performed at the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto Canada. Its an outdoor venue on lake Ontario.

You owe it to yourself to listen to the album version to hear Geddy's 1980 voice, and also read the lyrics, they are still relavent today. They all were masters of their craft.

Any true Rush fan has a hard time picking their favorite Rush song. They take you through every emotion you can have. I think it depends on how you're feeling on the day or week. Lately mine has been Prime Mover from the Hold Your Fire album, so inspirational. It is so inspirational that I just named my electrical company after it. Keep up with the Rush reactions, yours are my favorite to watch.

During an interview, Alex said Natural Science is probably his favorite song to play in concert (Geddy said Working Man was his favorite).

Thank you so much Detrucci!!!! This really is my favorite Rush song, and as someone else said I think you owe it to yourself to listen to the album version as well. This is DEFINITELY not a beginner Rush listener song. Lol! So if you are able to give a listen on your own when you don't have to pause for video I think you'll appreciate it even more! This is one of my favourites and watching an interview with them and they said they wrote this song in two to three days! 🤯 Yes, a number of bands have ripped off Rush. Instruments La Villa Strangiato official music video Where's my thing/Here it is live in Dallas Main Monkey Business To name a few La Villa Strangiato will blow you away but make sure to watch the official video as it has the complete song Other Songs One Little Victory live in Rio Caravan from the Time Machine Tour. 🏆 This is definitely in my RUSH top 10. This is such a master class in progressive metal! BTW D., you have certainly reacted to a few RUSH instrumentals, such as "YYZ", and "Where's My Thing" (I realize that one can lose track after doing so many reactions).😊 P.S. Please, don't stop the "rambling on" as you called it. That's a big part of your appeal! 👍 Thanks for this one!

Yes they have great instrumentals La Villa Strangiato for me is the best Favorite songs impossible for me to tell I love them all, and it depends on what I am on the mood for. For me Tom Sawyer stands out. But others I really love are Xanadu, Jacobs Ladder, Cygnus X-1 Book 1, 2112, Natural Science, The Spirit of Radio from that era. From the 82 on I love The Weapon, Subdivisions, Red Sector A, Losing It, Manhattan Project,….well I could write all day

I learned this song in my early 20s not the lead parts I rarely made it all the way till the end the rhythm parts wore my hand out out and cramp up Fun song though

It’s in my top 3 generally. You didn’t really touch on the lyrics but I find this song to be on their deepest philosophical meta rabbit holes. Wheels within wheels as they say with the parenthetical music structure mirroring the lyrics perfectly. Much depth to explore here! (Or you can just rock out to it🤟)

Oh my gosh are you kidding? They have some awesome instrumentals check out la Villa strangiato, YYZ, where's my thing here it is, limbo, malignant narcissism, and leave that thing alone and believe me there are more
