I’ve been listening to this since I was in the Air Force in the 80’s . How can one man put together a masterpiece like this and even then stand on stage and perform it hundreds and hundreds of times. And be a super cool dude? I don’t get it.

Of course it's going to sound spot on when Alex's guitar part and the real song are blasting in the background...Ha Ha! These supposed "cover" versions crack me up!! (Try isolating the real guitar part out with your fancy computer program running in the back and then lets here it)

Best rendition cover I have heard on YT. It doesn't get any better IMO. Coming off an 11 hiatus playing again. Bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio and a PRS Custom 24 Floyd Rose recently have a brand new Boss Katana Artist MK II coming Friday. This is one tune I am going to re-learn soon. I did learn to play it back in '84. Again, great job!

@@michaelbonet You're very welcome! BTW, I normally go for high end tube amps (hand wired) but after trying out the Katana Artist MK II (I was very skeptical), I was actually very impressed. I still own Boss pedals which I bought in the early 80's, all still work great. This amp is to me a good overall tool and the tones and effects are above par for a non-tube amp.

@@michaelbonet Hoy estuve hablando con Juan Luis Arocho quien no solamente es mi mejor amigo, es mi hermano y me mencionó lo del tributo. Le pregunté quien iba a tocar guitarra ya que Luis Persa brincó el charco y me dijo tu nombre. Me habló sobre tu canal en KZfaq y aquí estoy. Tu trabajo en la guitarra es impresionante. Tengo que ponerme a practicar porque estoy bien, bien atrás.. Lol.

@@YoninEcho Estuve por la casa de Luis practicando hace unos domingos la pasamos super, si Luiggy andaba por Arizona se mudo recien de nuevo zapatos dificiles de llenar mucha experiencia onstage...somos panas

Not sure of Alex plays a different way of this live than from the record or maybe you implemented your own style in some of the cords in the arpeggios which I dig a lot
