Geddy can perform in front of thousands of fans and get his laundry done at the same time!🤘🎸

This was the last song of a half hour set at the Sarstock festival in Toronto, the biggest crowd they ever played for. 😊

Neil had stage fright himself, and when Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts approached him as they were preparing to hit the stage, he turned and looked at him as if to say "Can't you see I'm busy?" Geddy recognized him and communicated that to Neil, who then broke out into a huge grin and paused to chat with Charlie, and even when he said "I'm going to watch you," Neil was relatively unfazed. Another performance with deep lyrics that I'd like you to see is The Garden from the Clockwork Angels Tour; it was their last song on their last album, and the lyrics speak of the passage of time and what's really important in our lives. Cheers from Toronto! 🎤 🎹 🎸 🥁 🎸 🐐 🐐 🐐

The Stones were the final act of the festival. I believe that they were preceded by AC/DC and Rush, and a few more acts before that. I love watching and listening this video.

This was at Sarstock, a benefit put on by the Stones to help the city of Toronto. There was something like 400,000 people there. Neil was already nervous with the crowd that size when Charlie Watts came up to introduce himself. Neil was in the zone to go perform when Charlie came up and introduced himself and said "I like the way you drum. I will be watching you" Alex was just giving 'er on that solo! Caravan from the Time Machine Tour live in Cleveland is another banger. Cheers

Thanks for a great review of a live performance of a great song by a great band. Neil Peart GOAT drummer. Geddy Lee right up there with GOAT bassist and Alex wasn’t all bad either. Had the opportunity to see Rush several times in concert and they were truly amazing. Sorry you didn’t have the opportunity to witness Rush live. Thanks again. Really enjoyed your review and your obvious passion for this epic band.

A little bit off-topic, but did you know Bruce Springsteen used to suffer from debilitating stage fright? Also, I read an article recently where Roger Daltrey of The Who said he still has to calm himself down a bit at times before hitting the stage when he's performing. You'd never know it when you see these rock legends absolutely owning football stadiums full of adoring fans.

I have a confession to make… I am a lifelong Rush fan stupid ridiculous over the top, obsessive, etc. I find this performance to be very mediocre amongst all the hundreds of videos I’ve seen of them and own. The crowd is very impressive, but the sound is not that great and the painted black cover is just so so in my opinion. Does anyone else think the same? It seems to be very popular to recommend for reactors because of the crowd size so I end up seeing it a lot.
