A Memory to be sure Randy! I was RUSHED my Senior Year of High School in April of "75! My buddy told me I just HAD to hear this new album he had called "Fly By Night". Cut Biology Class....Best Detention Ever!🤣 I was blessed to see Dirk, Lerxst and The Late Professor 56 Times! I have listened to RUSH practically everyday since that day back in 1975, give or take a day here and there. I also have seen so many cool shows from many other great bands and artists but RUSH is on a whole other level and that's probably why they will always be My # 1.....RUSH IS FAMILY! My Kids AND Grandkids absolutely dig The Canadian Trio! Cheers Bruddah and Keep Rocking!

@@maxwolf2726cool, unfortunately Rush had no plan to play in Asia especially in Jakarta, Indonesia, so I had no chance to see their concert in live. I am also fans of Genesis, and they also never had a concert in Asia, luckily I saw the concert of their vocalist Phil Collins here in Jakarta,at least he made one of my dreams come true..

You must be from Toronto, or a roadie one! I dug their music from the late '70s, being turned on to them from a chick in school. Her older brother started with the debut album. She told me to buy ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE. This chick looked like Sheryl Crow and was from metro St.Louis. She moved down to North Harris Co.Texas which is Houston metro. Saw RUSH on Hemisphere's tour with APRIL WINE opening in '77-'78. It was a cold bitch that night. But bud & beer kept the chill down going and coming out of Old Sam Houston Coloseum. And the only other time was on the Power Windows tour when l lived near Dallas/Ft.Worth. No opening act, they just lowered the house lights and began The Three Stooges theme song with the birds sound effects. Truly letting everyone know they were just humble people and not Rock Gods. I thought that was cool as hell. ROLL ON FOREVER!!!

I've always been amazed at how easy Neil Peart made playing the drums look. I know he was totally kicking ass, but he typically had the appearance that he was bored. He was doing something so second nature; powerful, accurate and intricate. Most folks would suffer quadruple limb failure trying to play like him and sound like a bozo. He was the best.

Neil was famously quoted indicating that "Tom Sawyer" was a very difficult song to play and that was why it felt so good to "get it right". One of the best concert moments I have ever had was on R40 in Toronto when they did "Tom Sawyer", the camera on Neil was on the stage backdrop at the end of the song and Neil smiled at Ged and Alex... I knew that I had just witnessed a special moment because, for him, the ultimate perfectionist in his playing, he "got it right".

Once for free,2007 or 2008 at Starlake. Gold circle seats, thank you Renée. My daughter 16 or 17, so I could have a couple of Molsons. She's a singer who didn't really know much about Rush. I didn't talk to her about the show on the way to, just to get her reaction. On the way home she said she didn't think it was possible for a drummer to be that fast and never seemed to miss a beat. I said to her Megan , you've just seen the greatest drummer of all time,G.O.A.T. if you will. When I told her years later that Neal had died, she said who? I said the drummer in Rush. She didn't say a word, but I noticed a tear in her eye.
