54 and have been listening to RUSH my entire life I remember. I am not trying to be flippant here, but RUSH has more talent in the pinky finger of Geddy Lee than the entire crew at Def Row Records - times 50. You heard that beat somewhere? It's probably because it was sampled on some other 'song'.

What kind of Rush fan are you? You sound like too many You Tubers getting it wrong. It's called, "The Spirit of Radio". After 2112, they opened almost every show with it for a reason. "Glittering prizes and endless compromises shatter the illusion of integrity."

“He knows changes aren’t permanent, -but change is.” Genius! I love this song by Rush. This right here is a Classic! Kind of a new-age-sounding song that was released in 1981. They were ahead of their time! Great reaction! -~Pentaholic from Louisiana 🐊

Rush was a great Canadian rock band formed in 1968. The band's style changed over the years, from a blues-inspired hard rock beginning, later moving into progressive rock, then a period marked by heavy use of synthesizers, before returning to guitar-driven hard rock since the end of the 1980s. They had a lot of great songs such as "Not Fade Away", "In The Mood", "Working Man", "Bad Boy", "Fly By Night", "Limelight", "Red Barchetta", "The Spirit Of Radio", "The Trees", "Subdivisions", "Closer To The Heart", "Xanadu", "Anthem" etc.

One of my favorite songs ever; it gets into your head and never leaves😋 The drummer,Neal Peart, passed away recently, but he used a bigger drum kit than anyone, ever, and made it sound like 2 drummers, even LIVE. Best line of the song: He knows changes aren't permanent, but change is. There is a band called STYX has a song called Renegade that you will like.

Props to you for your opening. No it's not new to many of us but is is to you and probably many others that will see this. You are basically helping to keep older songs alive for future generations by sharing these older ones. 🤟💯🔥🍻 An the GOAT Neil Peart on drums was always amazing. He passed away just over 2 years ago after a battle with brain cancer. He was also the main writer for the band. These guys were phenomenal for the sounds they made with only 3 band members. Aybe check out "Neil Peart Drum Solo" live in Frankfurt to see the man at work...

A lot of people dont really think about how complex this song is. The time signature changes so smoothly that you dont even realize it went from a 4/4 beat to a 7 beat and back to 4/4. It does that several times.

Great reaction this one of my childhood favorites saw them live a couple of times when I was a kid lol. Can you believe all this music is made by three people? Listen and react to more Rush; you'll be blown away. They are considered by many to have been the three best performers on each of their instruments, and they created and performed together for over 40 years. They were the least ego-maniacal famous rock & rollers ever, and Neil Peart, the drummer, percussionist, and lyric writer was a philosopher, poet and writer. You'll find so much to like about this band, their music, and its members if you choose to dig deeper.

There's not a bad tune on that album. You can't go wrong with Rush. Incredible lyrics combined with insane musicianship. They're all masters of their instruments. Another awesome factoid the singer/bassist also plays keyboards with his feet while singing & playing bass live. The drummer there without doubt the best there ever was. These three are probably the most influental musicians of their time.
