Fighting out of Team Wise Training Center, Russel really works for a win in this match. The head referee calls it the "Fight of the Night". Again fighting up a few age and weight divisions Russ shows what true heart and determination are all about. Gets a nice rear naked choke right at the end.
Right in the middle of this match you can see Howie fighting on the adjacent match against his teammate Nick.

Teller12: The time expired at the 5 Min mark and they stopped the match. Matches don't end in a tie, so then it was first takedown in OT wins, Russ was 12Y 3M old at the time of this match. I do not know his opponents age.

Similar video but with smaller and younger girl against guy titled ADCC Queens College 4-6-14 No Gi (10 yrs old /64 Lbs) Match 1. Izabella Frezzo competes in 14 and younger division and up to 79 pounds she defeats boy about a head taller. So, some time opposite happens although guys are generally stronger and faster.

Izabella loses more against older/larger boys. during her younger years she only shows her winnings.

the boy really did a lot, but I don't think she was 100% fighting. Twice she grabbed him with her legs so sharply, almost tearing off his head. she could use the hug of her legs and hips and finish his efforts very quickly, look her hug is like a guillotine, I think she didn't show her full potential, the girls are smart and have a very strong lower body

What is age and size difference here? I'm not hung up that as excuse to bash ladies; not at all. But I'm intrigued by it when there's a difference. Truth is, with most older teen or young or middle-aged women ...a 13 or 14-yr old boy with some training can be a real load for most girls or women...and I imagine sometimes they make better opponents, weight and strength-wise compared to older males. So discrepancies such as that doesn't take away from woman winning, not at all.

Why did they stop it at 5:00 when boy trapped in triangle? Did he tap? But then at 5:20, fight starts again...for about 20 seconds. Female looked more like a woman. Determined boy. She was good, too. I thought she won. She looked good with result,like she had fun with boy or maybe knew him...like grade school kid vs teacher.

They had a five minute time limit. Some do it that way different matches have different rules.

oh here you are at it again. thought the girl won yada yada and not understanding the rules. who says she had him a tight triangle. he was in a triangle before and she could not submit him. dont want to give credit to a boy who defeated a girl much bigger than him. kills your fantasy doesn't Teller!
