Not a bad idea! I don’t know that it would have been hard to pick out which was which though. The Russell’s and Stagg would be pretty obvious based on the proof and profile. The Blanton’s and Taylor may be interesting though. Which out of those 4 do you like best?

Never had the Taylor. The Russell and Stagg are much better than the Blantons

Russles might just not be your profile. Which is ok because there’s plenty to choose from. Blantons is good. Don’t get me wrong but it’s definitely over hyped. I could name plenty of different bottles that are better. I’ve tricked some friends that “LOVE” Blantons. I’ll pour them a drink and they say something along the lines of, “Man this stuff is good. Single barrels are great because you get something a little different every time but I can still tell it’s good ol’ Blantons.” In which I reply, “Yeah, that’s Even Williams white label bud.” Of course, someone with a good pallet could tell that but I bring it up because it’s very interesting what hype will make your mind do. It’s good to try a bunch of different stuff so you know what your preferred profile is. Find one or two whiskey tubers on here that have a similar profile as you and watch their stuff the most. No sense in taking someone’s advice if their profile isn’t the same as yours. And thanks for the comment!
