Despite her design flaws and already being out of date, including a real requirement for an essential upgrade in the early-mid thirties, she was a great battlecrusier from the WW1 period and flew the flag and represented our country well, overall. The Bismark was launched in 1939 with all the latest hardware, technology, and 21 years younger - a massive difference. She took a lot of hits and sustained significant damage, but unfortunately, she was hit in the magazine and blew up due to not getting that upgrade, which I mentioned earlier, which would of prevented that and given her move time to close with the enemy. Only three sailors survived. 🙏
