Ukraine’s army destroyed an oil depot in Luhansk in Donbass. According to the reports, several missiles hit civilian infrastructure in the Russian city of Luhansk causing a large blaze at the oil depot. At least five people injured in the attack. Besides, the attack also damaged a high-pressure gas pipeline and power lines, causing a partial blackout in the area.

I do not understand the significance of attacking oil refineries which I think have no effect on the war. Is it meant to deprive Russian military of fuel? If so, is it working? While Ukraine is busy planning sabotage, Russia is gaining ground on the battlefield so it looks.

@@andybassman104 sometimes there are cases that even a farm worker can see the foolishness of some actions. It does not take a military strategist to see that Nordstrom pipeline sabotage, Ketch bridge sabotage, Belgorod attacks, and now refineries sabotage are not changing things on the ground. Russia is still advancing.

The total aircraft score as of January 15, 2024, was 261: 98 in favor of the Russian Air Force. According to U.S. military experts, both sides suffered the highest losses in the first two weeks of the Strategic Air Defense Treaty. Only from February 24 to March 7, the Russian Air Force lost 29 aircraft - 34% of all losses during the entire time of the war. This is when air battles were organized right above Kiev.
