This is rubbish. Lisichansk was taken quickly. It was an important little city. Russia never tried to take Kiev. It didn't lose any real battles in Kiev. They were minor skirmish events only . You cannot take a capital city with 3.5 million people with just 40,000 men. Remember in February Putin stated his aim was to de N .atzefy Ukraine. He achieved 50 % of this by eliminating the Azov army in Mauripol. His other objective was to take over completely the Donbass and Lugansk regions to protect the Russian speaking folk who had suffered eight years of constant intimidation and shelling of civilians by the Ukrainian army. Plenty of ultra right wing Azzov, Right Sector, Section 16 and other N .atzee groups here also the west does not want to mention. Our media never tells us this. Our media never tells us that the 2014 Madan coup was orchestrated via America's Victoria Newland who boasted the USA had invested $5billion since 2008 to achieve the coup. It took Russia less than a week to take Lysychansk . The cost was 2000 Ukrainian dead and 5000 injured plus hundreds of prisoners. Ukraine was FORCED to flee, and took major losses while fleeing. Just days ago Ukraine said they were sending more soldiers to help in Lysychansk. Ukraine didn't think their defenses would collapse in 48 hours. This was a last second retreat AFTER major losses and a breakdown of the defensive line. After Lysychansk, Russia went on to take 7 towns in less than 24 hours because Ukraine didn't even have time to form a second defensive line. Russians are already at the Siversk doorstep.

To correct you, I think you will find that it is actually the Ukrainian soldiers of the Luhansk Peoples Republic, assisted by Russian troops that have taken control of Luhansk. Similar to the way that the Ukrainian soldiers of the Donetsk Peoples Republic, along with assistance from Russian soldiers, who took the Donetsk region! How quick people are fooled into forgetting the optics of this war, as tragic as it is. Russia has not even declared war on Ukraine and is only there helping the Ukrainians of the Donbas region take control after 8 years of constant shelling from the Ukrainian army and the tragic loss of over 15,000 lives. But the agenda of the West wants you to think that this is purely Putin alone that has caused this conflict! The USA has been involved in over 70 cases of clandestine and overt regime change and interference in foreign politics since the end of the Cold War and is naive to think that they can achieve this with Russia and ultimately China. For the sake of the Ukrainian people, who are being used as canon fodder in a very cruel game of chess by the West, this war needs to end very soon. Zelensky is being sold a lie from Biden and Boris and is so crazy to even think that Ukraine can win this war. The West and NATO are almost out of military hardware to send to Ukraine, yet Russia has not even deployed much of its arsenal into this conflict and according to a high up general in the Canadian army, the state of the Ukrainian army is now so dire, that many reservist forces are driving around and fighting in their own cars, due to the lack of military vehicles or tanks! Odesa could be next on Russia’s shopping list, which would then give them total control over the Black Sea coast and its rich offshore oil fields, and this in turn, would then transfer the remainder of Ukraine into a landlocked country. How many more Ukrainians have to needlessly die before the West and NATO realise that this is a war they simply can’t win, without sparking WWIII ?
