Russia Retrieves "Cluster Submunition" From Downed US-ATACMS, "No Secrets Left" After Examination

Russia’s search for various elements of the US-made ATACMS has resulted in a new discovery, Moscow’s state media reported. Russian experts recently got hold of the submunition of the missile used by Ukraine to attack Russia
The cluster submunition, which is part of the missile, is a green, spherical object about the size of a tennis ball with a casing.
Earlier in the week, Moscow forces claimed to have captured an intact guidance system from a long-range US-made missile. According to the RIA state news agency, Russians are studying the American military technology behind the missile.

Life has shown that Russian hypersonic missiles are useless and an easy target for Patriot missiles. However, there are old ATACMS missiles from the 1980s, which NATO gets rid of and often scraps. Only in 2 months they destroyed 15 S-300, S-400 systems. The ancient weapons transferred from NATO to Ukraine turned out to be space technology for the Russians

Two things about the submunition. It looks like it was designed to spin as it falls. It was clearly made to fragment like a grenade as well. I think the spinning aspect might help throw shrapnel farther. This is just a guess on my part though.

submunition is similar to soviet shOAB0.5 HE AP just google it , usually used in rbk500 multi purpous can be loaded with many diff submunition its umpk rbk500 now

I am a student at large of international law and the finding conclusion of Russia examination can be used in ICC-ICJ as a mean to file crime against humanity by USA military bombing civilian structure in Iraq and Afghanistan and labeling civilians as collateral damage. Russia should file criminal charges within Russia Courts against Ukraine Military and USA, brief reference I found online "The attendees of the Second Hague Conference in 1907 did adopt a "Declaration Prohibiting the Discharge of Projectiles and Explosives from Balloons" on 18 October 1907. It stated: "The Contracting Powers agree to prohibit, for a period extending to the close of the Third Peace Conference, the discharge of projectiles and explosives from balloons or by other new methods of a similar nature."[6] The foreshadowed "Third Peace Conference" never took place, and the Declaration remains in force. The United Kingdom and the United States ratified the Declaration.[7] With the rise of aerial warfare, non-combatants became extremely vulnerable and inevitably became collateral targets in such warfare - potentially on a much larger scale than previously.[8][9]"
