Күн бұрынDiscover the new Lakhta center 2, the future Russian skyscraper project which will be the tallest in Europe and the second tallest in the world ! It will be located in Saint Petersburg (Russia), next to the first Lakhta Center. With its 703 meters, it is close to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and will surpass the 679 meters of the Merdeka PNB 118 Tower, currently under construction in Kuala Lumpur, in Malaysia.

Not the most efficient building but thats a sacrifice you have to take to have a really cool looking building in i think making the building design handle the forces while looking very cool was very hard

The new design is great, futuristic! Totally original. Also, I didn't know anything about the other office tower, an energy tower, already in St Petersburg. Thanks for the update. But now, with Russia at war in Europe, I wonder if the spiral will ever be built?

Haters always gonna hate. But what a world this would be if we could put our political differences aside. Sure the building is/will be in Russia. Designed by an Englishman. Politics should never come between man and progress. Ergo, politics is that which stands between man and peace. Best wishes in the completion of this venture and its success.

Not really sure on the design(reminds me of plastic ornaments you hang on a Christmas 🎄 tree) Although sliding down 🛝 those spirals🌀 as a fire escape🚒👨🏻🚒 would be fxckin amazing 😍

Having one or two supertall skyscrapers in a city with no other skyscrapers is so ridiculous looking. I felt the same about the other building in that city when it was built.

I dont like the design. The floors look like different shapes depending where they fall on the height of the building. Some floors very narrow, others wider, all mixed together. Looks more like a tower than a skyscraper.

The design is amazing and I would really love to see it in real life, though I highly doubt that it’s structurally and economically possible. Now, after the war has started and the situation of Gasprom… I really hope the architects will take their idea somewhere else, cause there’s no chance for it to be built anywhere in Russia in many years to come.

Russia can't build proper infrastructure and housing in most cities and villages, but moves all the money to build skyscrapers in Moscow and Saint Petersburg....
