This is a golden opportunity for the West to move troops into Ukraine. They can take up defensive positions currently held by Ukraine. This will allow UA troops to go to the front. This move will increase the pressure on Russia to give up this madness and move out or be beaten by a more powerful Ukraine. Prigozhin has already stated that Russia cannot win this war and that it is a mostly unjust war. That makes me think he may think pulling out is best for Russia. More pressure will increase that possibility. Also with Russian leadership in chaos that makes this a prime opportunity to make this move.

As soon as the Russian soldiers at the front in Ukraine hear about this Wagner issue and Putin on the fence, they'll start looking for ways to run back home, it's a matter of weeks at most.

Wagner forces I think understand both the 25,000 in Russia and his 25,000 in reserve must now fight very hard when challenged by Russian NG, FSB units etc as if a Wagner merc is captured, he will face hard consequences.
