I'm from Uruguay and have to say that despite its economic crisis, Argentina is a lovely country with welcoming people)) Obviously Russian immigrants are going to find plenty of challenges on the way and quite a handful of cultural shocks

@emc-x4j si claro, como miles de españoles que entraron a Argentina en periodos posteriores al siglo XIX, o los italianos que emigraron a Argentina durante y después de la segunda guerra mundial, o los alemanes que ingresaron posteriormente, pero quizas te refieres actualmente a los cientos de miles de argentinos que viven en España que se fueron en el 2001-2005, o lo inmensa mayoría que se mudo a EE.UU y que tienes solicitudes abarrotadas para el ingreso en los países de U.E, reclamando con la documentación de sus abuelos y bis abuelos para ingresar a estos países.

@@glenwjohnson809that’s different, Americans didn’t have a mobilization during the War in IRAQ and were not terrorized by the Congress that they might be stripped off their right to leave the country any moment. I don’t think there were a single American that believed their country gonna turn into a light version of North Korea because of their war in IRAQ. You don’t know much . Your ability to defend your rights in Russia is deteriorating quickly smart people know it’s not gonna end well they don’t like having no rights even if their economy is still better than the Argentinian one.

This is an open-door country and everybody are welcome, but let's be honest, we know that you come here because you do not have too much options (One of the interviewers also mentioned that, Europe is closed for Russians) and want the Argentinian passport to move to another country in the next years. It's ok, we do not have any issue with it. Only be honest and transparent.

Buenos Aires looks like a European city in the Americas, and it always looks so beautiful in videos. I've worked with Iranian and Italian immigrants in the US that first immigrated to Argentina, and with its liberal immigration policies it makes sense that so many find refuge in Argentina. Good luck to the Russians, and hopefully the economic situation in Argentina gets better. The world is changing so rapidly with AI, robotics, the internet, mass data storage, new technologies, remote work, etc. and whoever can react to those changes the best will have the advantage.

El trabajo remoto ya es algo común hoy en día. Ganar en dólares y vivir en un país barato (o no tanto) es lo más razonable que se puede hacer. Hay gente que por esta razón dejan países del primer mundo, para que sus ingresos les rindan más. Igualmente estas personas en su mayoría se fueron por razones ideológicas.

It is good Alex and Veronica are learning Spanish.Alex works remotely online; in the future they can move to any Spanish -speaking country. Move up to Costa Rica or Honduras .Many Russians live in Florida,USA and in new York City,USA and in California,USA ;where Spanish can also be helpful .Very smart parents thinking of their daughter's future and well being .

Dear Argentinians most of these Russians are extremely high quality human material(entrepreneurs, IT etc) that don’t need any “welfare” and can support themselves and could really contribute to the country.

They go to Argentina because it´s easier to stay and get legalized, and for lack of better options. But they will eventually realize (as the interview shows) that it´s a failed economy (as much of Latin America) with no future for their children. And many of them will reimigrate somewhere else. That being said, I hope they have remote work and their own business, and those who decide to stay can be happy.

@@mharg6408 Milei will most likely not finish the year because he is doing everything to be removed from his position. If he manages to finish the year, he won't make it past the fall of 2025 because the people themselves will remove him. If he does manage to stay, it will be due to the high level of submission of the Argentine citizen.

You can corroborate this with the May pact that was celebrated in Tucuman, where the majority of mayors at the state level joined their treaty.

@@AgustinBernardoRussia’s economy is 50 times better than Argentina. It ranks high in purchasing power parity. Even with sanctions is doing well (not as big as USA) . Meanwhile, Argentina is renowned for souring inflation, debt problems, bankruptcies and stagnation. - These people are in Argentina to escape serving in the war or just hate living under dictatorship.

Cuantos comentarios de ingleses enojados y ofendidos, además racistas... la economía ya esta mejorando, Argentina ya tiene oleadas de inversiones de todo el mundo, bajo la inflación, bajo la inseguridad, en pocos meses Milei ordeno el país y solo queda crecer, mejorar. Con respecto a los comentarios ingleses de mala educación, mejor mírense al espejo, están en decadencia hace años en todos los sentidos, política, economía, cultura, sociedad, inseguridad, si vas al centro parece un país musulmán y/o africano(no es por discriminar, sino por el remplazo de cultura sin ningún tipo de control/inserción). Con respecto a los comentarios sobre las islas, solo esperen unos años mas y van a ver como Argentina las recupera, mientras nosotros volvemos a ser potencia, ustedes están en caída libre, sea vía diplomática o no a futuro volverán a ser nuestras, es solo cuestión de tiempo(Además tenemos el apoyo internacional tanto de EEUU, como de Rusia, China, Japón y muchos mas países que apoyan la soberanía Argentina sobre Malvinas).

Many russian are good and others simple are working for the Kremlin . Argentina is quite naive about Russian politics estrategies. Some one apear in a video like a ordinary person taking for the tv audience but they're spreading misinformation . Russian can be amazing people or exactly the contrary when they're ultra nationalist's.
