i live in South Korea and i totally agree with you saying sausages in Asia taste artificial, sweet and weird lol. in here, bacon sucks too. they all taste artificial, low quality, sweet and weird. and are not even cheap lol

Don't worry, in Russia almost all affordable food tastes like shit. In many products palm oil is the main ingredient. 🤮 You have to earn much money to buy some more or less quality food. At least there’s quality fish and sea products in Asia. In Russia it’s sucks too.

One thing I did notice is that there are more variety of products in Russian supermarkets than here in Norway 🙄🤔(Norwegian supermarkets are a load of crap,no matter what supermaket you visit they sell the same thing and it's not cheap 🙄🤔)

We have quite a few flavors of kefir here: vanilla, honey, fruit (blueberry, strawberry, peach, etc). I haven’t tried all of them, but I like the ones I have tried.

I know some use cottage cheese and farmer chese interchangeably, but really what you called cottage cheese is actually farmer cheese. We have farmer cheese in some stores, it's not very popular here in USA. Actually, the farmer cheese is sold in more expensive, healthier stores, from my experiwnce. We also havw some in European stores (I'm Ukrainian, have been in USA for 22 years, came as a teenager with my family).

В "Пятерочках", в основном продаются очень доступные продукты, недорогие. Есть, кстати и более дешевые супермаркеты, вроде "Светофора" - там еще дешевле можно купить многое. Откровенно голодающих людей в России практически нет.

Fun fact: Dobry and Lubimy was a cheap juice brands by Coca-Cola and Pepsi companies. Now it's replacement of Coca-Cola (officially leaved Russia) and Pepsi-Cola (still stays, bot some brands was replaced) in Russia. Cheap caviar is "imitation", it's not real caviar. Real caviar is about $10, maybe little cheaper.

I live in Laos, and there is a Russian shop here, but I am afraid, they demand 'rip-off' prices! One medium sized quality salami costs about 1'000'000 LAK = USD 52.00 I think that is crazy! small 'm' letter very similar to russian letter T in HAND writing, if you would type its going to be just "т"

It's Sweden we have nothing in the stores from Russia. It's a bit odd, because it's a very close country. But then I guess we don't have a lot from Poland or such either, being a neighbour country. It's mostly Swedish products, Spanish and Italian. A LOT of vegetables and fruits in Sweden is from Spain. Thanks Spain!

@@tonynordlander9626 Ja när det är säsong och svenskproducerat är det ju superbilligt också.. typ 2 gurkor för 15 kr och sånt där, eller färskpotatis. Vi producerar ju mycket vete, havre, korn, morötter, potatis, lök, kött, ägg och sånt. Men inte så mycket tomat osv. Det är väl en klimatfråga antar jag. Svenska tomater finns bara på sommaren. Men lite produkter från grandländerna hade varit kul, finns ju massa annat typ Saurkraut, och massa röror och inlagds produkter osv.. men det ser inte man inte mycket av förutom typ Ajvar Relish
